THE FIRST FOUR YEARS: A Job Performance Evaluation of George W. Bush.

THE FIRST FOUR YEARS

A JOB PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF GEORGE W. BUSH

This book is dedicated to anyone and everyone that was, in any way, screwed by the Bush administration. The list of people includes (but is not limited to)

1. Al Gore and the people that voted for him

2. The members of the United States Navy that turned to Bush for help when their plane went down in China, only to find that they were not going to get help, and they had to think of their own plan.

3. The families of the 2,500+ Americans that were killed in the attacks that took place on September 11, 2001 that Bush was warned about in advance but chose to do nothing about.

4. The 4,000+ Iraqi women, children, and civilian men that were murdered and slaughtered by the "few, the proud, the Marines" and the Americans that like to "Be all they can be in the Army reserves"

5. The 10,000+ American soldiers that were wounded in battle. Some of which had to get limbs amputated.

6. The famies of the 1,000+ Americans troops that were killed in Iraq

7. Any American who is not in the wealthiest 1% of the nation. This would mean 99% of America

8. Any American worker who lost their job to a citizen of Mexico, India, or China.

9. The United Nations

10. Any American that has their 4th Amendment rights trampled by the Patriot Act

11. Gay Americans

12. Any American who is Saudi Arabian in descent, but was born and raised in America, and was detained or discriminated against on airplanes, while 95% of the cargo bays were not examined and while a non Arab American was able to successfully bring box-cutters on board an airplane after telling the Govt. he was going to do so, to test security.

13. Any mother that could not bring her baby's formula or stroller on board airplanes, while people were allowed to bring 2 butane lighters and 4 books of matches on board.

14. Saddam Hussein, who was punished for commiting acts that other countries commit all the time and get off clean for. Countries like Saudi Arabia, which does business with the Bush family all the time.

15. The members of Congress who were not given the materials they requested of the Bush Administration in order pull through with the 9/11 Commission

16. The 20,000+ troops that were told they were allowed to come home and then when that date came, they were given word that they had to stay an extra 6 months.

17. The troops that requested body armor (which was purchased online) from their parents for birthday presents because the U.S. Govt. was not giving them the proper tools needed.

18. The children all over America that will not recieve attention because "No Child Left Behind" was underfunded.

19. The American soldiers, that are coming back from other countries, that cannot recieve mental help or employment assistance becuase somone needs to pay for Bush's 2 trillion dollar Social Security plan and it sure is not going to be the rich people.

20. Mother nature

21. Victims of abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect.

22. The 131 people that were killed by Governor George W. Bush of Texas. Some of these people suffered from insanity and mental retardation

23. The 114,000 people in Ohio alone (I still have no idea why the hell Ohio was a red state in the last election. Whatever they are smoking, it must be some good shit) that have lost health care under George Bush Jr.

24. Any American who is either attending, or (in my case) employed at, one of the 15 Catholic schools in the metro-Detroit area that are closing down due to the bad economy. The guest worker programs and tax loopholes also contribute to the lack of money to send children to these schools.

25. Any American motorist that is paying $2.19 for a gallon of gas.

26. Any person in any country that is just tired of looking at Bush's monkey face.

FOREWORD:

Thank you for taking the time to read "THE FIRST FOUR YEARS a job performance evaluation of George W. Bush". In this book you will hear from senators, congressmen, political analysts, authors and other political experts. but you will also hear from a few everyday Americans. Because after all Experts weren’t the only ones voting in the 2000 election or the 2004 election, they are certainly not the only ones paying taxes, and they are certainly not the only ones that should have a say.

In this book I give my solemn word and promise that EVERYTHING stated in this book is, to my knowledge, 100% true, factual, and correct! If anything I heard that may have sounded like a good addition to my book could not have been confirmed, I omitted it. Their were many rumors and speculations I have heard regarding George Bush and the people associated with him but due to inability to confirm either thru writing from a reliable source, video, audio, or any other means of validation I was not able to submit it into the book. For all you skeptics out there I have included a complete list of over 100 different sources in the back of the book. Every movie, book, website, and magazine was documented as a source. So if you don’t believe me you can look for yourself. With that being said, if anyone somehow finds evidence that I was incorrect about any statement in this book and they have sufficient proof of it, all they have to do is email me at "WakeMeUpIn08JDTL@aol.com" with the proof and their claim and if they are indeed correct, I will immediately revise the statement or totally withdraw it from the book.

I have also included many pictures to help get the point across. These pictures were carefuly weeded through and picked out of thousands of choices. After all, even George Bush himself says "One of the great things about books is sometimes their are some fantastic pictures"

Some people approve of George W. Bush’s performance as president in these past 4 years. In this book, I hope to show those people and every other American, that their trust is EXTREMELY misplaced. If you are one of these Bush supporters, as you read on, prepare to be astounded by what you read. If you are not one of his supporters that probably means you have good instinct and an ear for truth. This is just more confirmation for what you already know.

So relax, get your glasses on, and prepare to be enlightened. J thank you

CHAPTER 1

The 2000 Election

In the year 2000, the people of the United States of America were to elect a new president. The president at the time, Bill Clinton, was just finishing up his second term. That and the fact that he was impeached for committing perjury) which would (if their was NOT a two term limit) disable him from running for president again.Their were two men fighting for the title. Their names were Albert Gore Jr. and George Walker Bush. They both ran their campaigns and had their debates, moments, and catchphrases like "mending fences both figuratively and literally" and "fuzzy math". America watched as these two men duked it out for months. Then came Election Day of 2000.

On Election Day, the people did their patriotic duty and made their voices heard. Some stood in line for up to 2 hours or more just so they could pull the lever for their candidate of choice. After all was said and done and the polling stations closed, the news channels started bringing on the results. All states had made it clear who their winner was and it was one of the closest, if not the, closest election of all time. America had made its choice that night. Every state in the country knew exactly who they wanted to be the next president of the United States. The news channels made it clear that the facts have spoken and the results were in. The news channels can't argue with facts but somehow they found a way to. The Fox News Channel recalled a certain state which was, at the time, in the Al Gore column over into the George Bush column. It's no surprise that the man who did this was none other than George Bush's first cousin, John Ellis. Ellis was working as the man in charge at the decision desk that night. Every other channel proclaimed Al Gore to be the winner and thus the new president elect. And the state that was recalled was none other than Florida.

It seems experts in Florida were saying that Floridians may have accidentally voted for the wrong person. Gore supporters voted for Ralph Nader (who was running on a separate party that knows it's never going to have a snowball's chance in hell of winning an election) Nader supporters voted for Bush and other problems like this occurred. It seems funny that Florida was the only state out of all fifty in the country that had that problem. That was not the only problem that Florida, the state with a case of electile dysfunction, had . Another problem was the "chads". In many voting precincts in Florida, the ballot was actually punched in with a pen-like object. The only difference between this object and an actual pen was the fact that this object did not contain ink. It was merely a pointed object used to punch in a hole next to the name of the candidate. In many cases, the holes did not get punched all the way. When this occurred, it was referred to as a "chad". So the experts would debate for weeks about whether or not a hole that was not punched in all the way should technically count as a vote. The Republicans, The same party that George W. Bush was running for, felt that this was a waste of time. Maybe that was because they were winning.

Here are the facts. Who was the governor of Florida at the time of all this? None other than Jeb Bush. George's brother. When they were on Air Force One together, in an interview, with Jeb by his side, George looked right into the camera and said "Ya know something? We are gonna win Florida. Mark my words. You can write it down". How could he have been so sure that he was going to win in an election that was so close? Maybe because his brother was governor? Ok. It's a start. Maybe it's also because the woman in charge of the vote counting in Florida was none other than Bush's campaign manager. Still not convinced? How about this? The same woman that was in charge of the vote counting and George Bush's campaign paid a company in Florida called Data Base Technologies of Blue Lake to knock the names of African American voters off the voting list. African American voters have been proven to generally vote for Democrats. In this case, the Democrat happened to be Bush's opponent, Al Gore. So maybe when he said that he was going to win, he was thinking in his head about the plan for the election. His buddies could back him up. Sure it wouldn’t take care of the popular vote, which Al Gore defeated Bush in, but the only thing that counts is the electoral votes.

As you can probably imagine, the Bush supporters stood behind their man while the other half protested. An author named Jeff Toobin wrote a book that he called "Too Close to Call". He was asked to go on CNN news and in a television interview, he said "If their was a statewide recount under every scenario, Gore won the election." Their were lawsuits filed by Gore and other Democrats and their were recounts that were demanded, not to mention other shenanigans. This went on until one day they realized that their was no one able to solve this problem. It went all the way to the United States Supreme Court. The Supreme Court did not investigate the authenticity of Bush's victory. All they did was decide whether or not the Democrats should be allowed any more recounts. They decided to vote against it.

The next big step was Inauguration day. Only it was not Gore's inauguration even though he had won the election. Or at least he would have if none of the black voters were knocked off the voting list at the command of "Dubya" as he is sometimes known. Perhaps he would've had a chance if Jeb Bush were not governor. Perhaps if someone else were governor they would have done something about someone tampering with the voting lists. If someone tried taking generally Republican voters off the list I'm pretty certain Jeb wouldn't have just stood by and watched like he did in this case. Some say he was ignorant of this situation. They say Jeb Bush had no idea what was going on with the voting lists. He was governor of the state. That's like a zookeeper not knowing what the animals are up to. He had full access to the voting lists. He couldn’t have legally or honestly made any changes but he could have gotten a list, from his staff, of everyone that was eligible and registered to vote. Then he could have compared this list with the voting lists that were sent out to the precincts, and if they matched then their was no problem. If they did not match, and their were names on the list of eligible voters that were registered, that were not on the list of voters given to the precincts, then they would know that their was indeed foul play. He could have spoken to any precinct he wanted. Jeb Bush could have easily cleared his brother's good name but he chose not to. He chose to let the Supreme Court handle it by simply saying one word. "No". No more recounts. This, in my opinion, proves that there was no good name to clear. Why else would Jeb not step forward and assist his brother? What was he trying to hide by not taking these steps?

So in, what we Americans believed to be, a foolproof election process, Bush had bought his way into the White House. Maybe that's what he meant when he said "They misunderestimated me". I'm sure you have heard people refer to George Bush as "an idiot" and a "moron" but, in reality, nothing could be farther from the truth. After all, it takes a real genius to lose an election and still get into the oval office. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you our 43rd president. Albert Gore Jr. George Walker Bush.

Chapter 2

Post Election Life

So George Bush moved into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Before moving in though, he had a little ceremony to attend to. His Inauguration and Inaugural address. On the way there, everything pretty much seemed to be going well. When Bush had arrived at his Inauguration he was greeted by his usual, right-wing nut-job, fans but those were not the only people there to see him. His Inaugural ceremony attracted many protesters. The protest grew violent and S.W.A.T. teams had to be called in. The traditional walk from the limousine through the crowd was impossible for Mr. Bush, unless he wanted a punch in the stomach, which he did not. The Secret Service made sure he was in his limousine and they drove the motorcade through the crowd and up to Capitol Hill. No U.S. president has ever seen anything like this on their Inaugural day.

China vs. America!!! Late on the Saturday night of March 31, 2001, a U.S. naval maritime patrol airplane was flying in the South China air. The plane collided with one of two Chinese fighter planes that were shadowing the U.S. Navy plane. Both airplanes were badly damaged and the American pilots made an emergency landing on China's Hainan Island. Nobody was hurt in this incident; however China still maintained possession of a United States military aircraft. The plane had U.S. military intelligence that was not known to China. They also detained the pilots.

George W. Bush held a press conference shortly after the incident. Here are a few highlights from that press conference: "The first step should be immediate access by our embassy personnel to our crew members. I am troubled by the lack of a timely Chinese response to our request for this access." "Failure of the Chinese government to react promptly to our request is inconsistent with standard diplomatic practice and with the expressed desire of both our countries for better relations." The Chinese government replied by saying, "The United States should apologize for the collision, which led to one of its jets and pilots going missing in the South China Sea." George Bush maintains that the United States has done nothing to apologize for and he continued to ask for the crew and plane's return.

The crew stayed there for 5 nights until (at the time) Secretary of State Colin Powell wrote a letter expressing regret for the missing Chinese pilot who was presumed dead but no apology was made. The Chinese foreign ministry spokesman, Sun Yuxi, responded to Powell's letter by saying this in a press conference: "The U.S. expression of regret is a step in the right direction." "They have caused this air collision incident and they also entered illegally into China's airspace. It is fully natural for competent authorities in China to question them about this incident." Instead they urged the U.S. to take full responsibility for the incident. The White House ruled out an apology and President Bush said relations could be damaged if China did not return the plane and its crew soon.

Meanwhile, a senior Pentagon official said the 24-member crew of the Navy surveillance plane successfully planned and executed a plan to destroy sophisticated intelligence-gathering equipment on board. Officials did not elaborate on what was destroyed or how it was destroyed, although they said the plane suffered more damage than originally thought in the collision, including propeller damage and the loss of wing flaps and the air speed indicator. Ladies and gentlemen, those are the facts. When one of America's plane was stranded what did George W. Bush do? Nothing except worsen the situation. He basically said "I'll tell you where you can stick your apology, now give me back my plane or I'm gonna start getting pissed!"

Those soldiers depended on Bush. They depended on him, their Commander in Chief, to come to their aid and help them leave China. What did he do? He let them figure it out on their own. He let them come up with the plan to destroy the American developments in the plane so that the plane would be of no use to China's military. While they were busy thinking, Bush was busy bickering with China. They would say "apologize" and Bush would say, "No I'm not apologizing. I didn't do anything wrong. Ask Colin Powell. Hey Colin, did I do anything wrong?" "No boss you did nothing wrong." "There. Ya see? Now give me back my plane before you really make me mad and we're not friends anymore!" His diplomatic relations failed. He could not negotiate his way out of that. That was his first foreign relations test as president, and in my opinion, he failed. The troops got out and are now safe but that is no thanks to George W. Bush. After all, he was the man that once said "If you say you're going to do something and then don't do it, that's trustworthiness". No Mr. President, that is not trustworthiness. An average American had this to say... "I cannot believe Bush could'nt apologize for the plane incident. It's all about communication with other countries."

After the election, George W. Bush also lost Republican control of the Senate to the Democrats. His approval ratings slipped from 53% on May 3rd 2001 to 45% on September 5th of 2001. Obviously needing a break from all the stress from the China problem, the Republican loss of Senate control, slipping approval ratings, and other presidential matters, George Bush went on vacation. He did that a lot in his first 8 months in office. In fact, according to the Washington Post, he was on vacation 42% of the time during his first 8 months in office. That sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I know every job I've personally ever started I was not allowed to take almost half the time off in my first 8 months. When he was visiting his home away from home in Crawford, Texas, a reporter said to him "There are a lot of people criticizing you saying maybe you're taking too much time off. What are you doing for the rest of the day?" Bush responded by saying "Karen Hughes is comin over we're workin on some things and uh... she'll be over here". An American who had already read this book had this comment to make on this "How can a president be on vacation 42% of the time during the first 8 months of his job? Perhaps the job was too much for him".

During these 8 months when he actually was working, he had a chance to go visit Jeb, his brother, in Florida, and for good reason. If Jeb had not looked the other way during the election, George Bush probably would not have even become president. During a meeting, George Bush received the "Terrorism Security Briefing" (or as I call it, "Responding to Terrorism for Dummies"). This manual had intelligence that stated that Osama Bin Laden (wanted for masterminding the attack on the U.S.S. COLE) was planning to attack America. Condoleeza rice was quoted as saying "I believe the title was 'Bin Laden determined to attack inside United States'". Bush did not read it. He had even previously cut terrorism spending from ,000,000.00 to ,400,000.00. These, as you will see in the next chapter, will prove to be FATAL mistakes.

CHAPTER 3

9/11/01

On September 11th, 2001, the largest foreign terrorist attack on a civilian outpost in America was carried out. 19 Terrorists from a group called "Al-Qaida" (translation- The Base) hijacked 3 American airplanes and flew them into the financial and defense headquarters of the United States. These attacks caused the deaths of 2,973 people. The man responsible for the masterminding of this attack was Osama Bin Laden. After this day, the pentagon, the World Trade Center, the United States, and the whole world were all changed forever.

I bet a lot of Americans even remember where they were when they first heard about the attack. Me? I had just sat down in an Intro to Chemistry class. How about you? Just taken the kids to school? At work in a meeting? At home sick maybe? I certainly know that Americans knew where they were when they heard about it after the first time. They were everywhere. You couldn’t turn on the radio or TV, or go out in public without hearing the words "Osama Bin Laden" or "September the 11th" or something of that nature. You know where I was and you know where you were, but let's find out where some other people were that fateful September morning shall we?

President George W. Bush, on the morning of 9-11-01, had an important date scheduled with a class of school children and (big surprise) the school was in (you guessed it) the same state that his brother Jeb governs, Florida. Before walking into the classroom a member of the secret service had told George Bush that the first tower of the World Trade Center had been hit by a plane. Instead of Stopping, Bush continued into the appointment and proceeded to pose for a photo opportunity. He then started to read "My Pet Goat" with the children when suddenly a Secret Service worker came up to him and whispered in his ear that America was under attack. Being the quick thinker that Bush is, he sat there and did, literally, absolutely nothing, until his appointment was over.

What I'm wondering is, when Bush found out that the first tower was hit, why didn't he leave to go assess the damage? Which is more important, over 1,000 dead Americans or a classroom full of children and photographers? I hear a lot of Bush supporters say to me when I make that argument, "Well he didn't want to scare the children". I could think of something to say that would not scare the children and I'm not even a president. You simply say something to the effect of "Kids I'm sorry but I have to go attend to some important presidential business. I'm going to have to cut this meeting a little short but I'll be glad to stop by again sometime." I doubt that would scare the children. Even if the children did get scared, this was a scary event. They should be scared when their nation is under attack by terrorists.

The 2nd thing I was wondering is, If the terrorists were able to do that much damage within the time that Bush heard about the first tower being hit and the time when the second tower was hit, within the time that it took Bush to leave that school and issue orders, think of what other attacks could have taken place. Thank God they didn't, but what if those terrorists had access to nuclear or chemical weapons. These terrorists could've done a lot more damage while our President, "Chief defender of the Constitution", was sitting in a school reading about a goat. I guess a classroom full of photographers was, in Bush's mind, a little more important than a terrorist attack resulting in almost 3,000 dead Americans.

How about someone else? I wonder where George W. Bush's father was on the morning of September the 11th. Both George W. Bush and his father George Herbert Walker Bush were on the board of directors of a business known as The Carlyle Group. They were not the only ones on this elite board. The half brother of Osama Bin Laden (the man responsible for the attacks on this day) was also on the board. The Bin Laden family and the Bush family both had thousands if not millions invested into the Carlyle Group.

On the morning of September 11th, the Carlyle Group held a business meeting at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington D.C. They were there to discuss business matters pertaining to, among other things, a business the Carlyle Group owned called "United Defense" which was an international arms dealer. United Defense specialized in selling tanks, rockets, guns, and other weapons for national defense to leaders of nations including the United States of America. So as the World Trade Center towers went down and the Pentagon was in ruins from the attack, defense spending went up worldwide. Nations all over the world started increasing defense spending for fear of a similar attack on their soil. So who did they buy some of these defense materials from? They bought them from United Defense, which made a one day earning figure of ,000,000.00 in stock. Carlyle Group, being this company's owner, stood to gain from this. Even more in particular, the members of the board stood to gain from this. Members of the board like George W. Bush, George Herbert Walker Bush, and the Bin Laden family.

How about them anyway? The Bin Laden family. I wonder where they were. It's unsure to me where they were on September 11th itself but I sure know where they were on September 13th. They were on the only airplane in the United States sky. George W. Bush had given them a one way ticket out of the country. Byron Dorgan, a Democratic senator from North Dakota said "We had some airplanes authorized at the highest level of our government to fly to pick up Osama Bin Laden's family members and others from Saudi Arabia and transport them out of the country". I've gotten into debates with many right-wing nut-jobs over this and their answer is always the same. They say the same thing their hero George W. Bush says. Osama Bin Laden and his family were not in contact with each other. The Bin Ladens are good people and they disowned Osama. That is simply not true. In the summer of 2001, one of Osama Bin Laden's sons got married in Afghanistan. The Bin Laden family was present.

That makes me think. Osama Bin Laden and his half brother were at the same place at the same time. A few months later Osama Bin Laden attacked America. Defense spending went up worldwide, therefore putting money in his half brother's wallet. Is it at all possible, that during that wedding ceremony or its festivities, Osama Bin Laden and his half brother, or any other member of the family for that matter, had a conversation in which they struck a deal, that when Osama carries out this attack and the Carlyle Group makes money through United Defense, Osama would get his cut of the profits? Osama Bin Laden, as evil and cruel as he may be, is not, in my opinion, stupid. After all, he was able to kill almost 3,000 Americans in one day. This probably would've occurred to him.

Even if the Bin Laden family is made up of good people isn't it worth a look? Or was Bush in on the deal? Did he know it was going to happen and then he could collect the money? Did he cut terrorism funding only so he could boost it and gain more money through stock? It would'nt be his money buying the weapons from United Defense, it would be the money of the taxpayers. But it would be his money that he would collect from United Defense when its stock went up because it was his money he invested in it. Did he purposely ignore the warnings in the "Terrorism Security Briefing" that stated that Osama Bin Laden was planning on attacking America, that he received while he was on vacation, so when it did happen, he could collect? If he did not know anything about this, why did he fly the Bin Laden's out of the country without questioning a single one of them? Why did he ignore the security briefing? Why didn't he call a meeting with Osama Bin Laden's half brother, to see if he had some kind of deal with Osama? Why is it that he says things like "Pursuing our enemies is a vital commitment in the war on terror" and then quite possibly let the world's number one terrorist slip right through his fingers?

These are questions that need to be asked. They also need to be answered. It bothers me to know that when Congress tried to set up a 9/11 commission to interrogate individuals and get to the bottom of this and other issues, Bush protested as if he had something to hide. "It's important for us to... uh... to not really reveal how we collect information. That's what the enemy wants." It was already too late for that. The enemy had already carried out the attack. As Bush should know, immediately after the Japanese attack on the American military outpost of Pearl Harbor back on December 7th 1941, the (then) president ordered an investigation of exactly what had taken place. I'm not so sure Bush does know about that attack. Especially after hearing him say, on February 18th, 2002 "For a century and a half now, America and Japan have formed one of the great and enduring alliances of modern times". A century and a half is equal to 150 years. This attack happened less than 70 years ago.

Bush owes it to America to answer these questions. He owes it to America to let us know just what the hell is going on. He owes it to everybody that died in this attack. All 2,973 of them. Almost 3,000 funerals could've been avoided if he had not have cut terrorism spending from 65 million dollars to 44.4 million dollars. Almost 3,000 burials could have been prevented if he had just read the "Terrorism Security Briefing". Almost 3,000 family lives would not have been destroyed if he had done his job. Bush owes it to the people that were on the top floors of this building and knew there was no way they were going to get down, so they jumped from the window and plummeted to their deaths below on the New York pavement. Damn it, he owes the American people an explanation for his actions. . A reader had this to say "2,973 people killed. Tragic. Bush, where are you? Why is Bin Laden still at large? Why didn't you warn Americans of what was going on?"

Why didn't he answer these questions? Why did he try to stop Congress from setting up the 9/11 commission? What was he trying to hide? Why didn't he come forward and tell the American people what was really going on? Is it that he was too scared to? I'm sure everybody knows the song "The Yellow Rose of Texas", but I think someone needs to write a song about the Yellow Bush of Texas.

CHAPTER 4

Shortly After 9/11

After the Bin Ladens and other Saudi Arabians who may have had contact with Osama Bin Laden were flown out of the country with no questions asked, hundreds of Americans, who happen to be Caldean or Arabic in descent, (just like I am German in descent and like Bush's supporter Ben Stein is Jewish in descent) were discriminated against in not only all of America by their fellow Americans, but also at the airports. Born and Raised in America, hundreds of these Caldean and Arab Americans were, in the worst case scenario, detained for weeks at a time, and in the best case scenario, told to leave the plane. One case I can think of, in particular, was in Dearborn Michigan. An Arab-America used car dealer went into work on the morning of September 12th, 2001, to find all his car's windshields and windows smashed in with some kind of blunt hard object like a bat or a golf club. What was left behind by the vandal(s) were over 25 miniature American flags. Is that how we treat our fellow Americans? Especially when the real culprits are getting away?

The real culprit was Osama Bin Laden who was, at this time, seeking refuge in Afghanistan. Bush said that Osama Bin Laden must be captured dead or alive. A manhunt began. The CIA would find evidence that told them the "exact whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden" which was somewhere on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan as indicated on a map found in the visual representation. They would alert the media right away. The media would go on the air and tell the American people the news. They also, without realizing it, told hundreds of Al-Qaida's agents working in America. These agents in these terrorist cells across America would report back to Bin Laden that he was found out and he had to move. This gave him plenty of time. An American reader had this to say about this... "Every time America knew where Bin Laden was, they would announce it over TV and radio. Duhh! Then Al-Qaida knew we knew so they would move Osama"

Time didn't really seem to be a factor for Osama Bin Laden. He could've gotten away if he had a million years or if he had 5 minutes. Without the troops to catch him there was nothing stopping him. George Bush did send some troops over there but he only put 11,000 troops in Afghanistan to look for him. He was even told by General Shinseki, the Army chief of staff, that he was going to need several hundred thousand troops. They retired General Shinseki for telling him that. There were, at the time, more police in Manhattan NY, than troops looking for the most wanted man in the world. Osama Bin Laden.

After months of searching, there was nothing found. Maybe the reason for this is because George Bush didn't really care enough to capture Osama Bin Laden. After all it was him, in a press conference that said, when asked where Bin Laden was, since Bush had still not found him, "Terror is bigger than 1 person and he’s a person who's now been marginalized so I don't know where he is. Ya know I just don’t spend that much time on it to be honest with you." Of course not remembering that he said this, at a 2004 presidential debate against Democratic senator from Massachusetts, John Kerry, Kerry had brought this up to the public's attention, Bush responded by saying, "Gosh, I just don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. It's kind of one of those exaggerations." No, it's not an exaggeration. It's what Bush was quoted as saying.

Let's take another look at the lives of everyday Americans. Every day Americans were, to say the least, inconvenienced by what Bush did next. The Federal Aviation Administration made a new set of rules to keep America safe. Some of them included pat downs, more security guards, and the fact that you had to take your shoes off before getting on a plane in case you were in possession of a shoe bomb. One woman was told she was not allowed to bring her baby's formula with her on to the plane while every where else in the country, travelers were allowed to bring up to 4 books of matches and 2 butane lighters with them on board the planes.

It's pretty hard to cause an emergency with a bottle of baby formula but is it that hard to cause an emergency with 4 matchbooks and 2 lighters? I could think of a plan to do some damage with those. Anybody could go into the bathroom of the plane, set magazines and toilet paper on fire and throw them out into the passenger area where the aisle way is carpeted. During the struggle of everybody trying to put out the fire, the terrorist could pass by everybody and go into the cock-pit. They could kill the pilots by snapping their necks and damage the controls by pouring liquid (like a pop or water or something) all over the instrument panel, or they could take the plane off course slightly. Like when the pilots are dead they could, oh I don't know... fly it into a building? Or into a mountain? Forest? While everybody is pre-occupied? Even if the other passengers were able to fight the terrorist and the plane was not able to be overtaken by them, in the midst of the fire they could have taken a glass and, after snapping the necks of the pilots, destroyed the instrument panel which I'm guessing can't be good for a plane. Terrorists like Al Qaida spend years planning attacks. I thought that plan up in 2 or 3 minutes. Imagine what terror experts can do in 5 or 6 years.

Luggage was also examined thoroughly. Any suitcase you wanted to bring on board had to be x-rayed and examined, while 95% of the luggage in the cargo bay was NOT examined. John Kerry, in a 2004 presidential debate, was quoted as saying "Look, 95 percent of our containers coming into this country are not inspected today. When you get on an airplane, your bag is X- rayed, but the cargo hold isn't X-rayed. Do you feel safer?" Any terrorist could easily put a bomb on any one of those suitcases and kill everybody on board any U.S. plane or planes. When Bush was asked why this was the way it was, he said "Well, that would be a big tax gap if we did that." As we will see later in the book, Bush's tax plan does NOT make sense and it does not work well for all of America. Only for the rich. I think I can pretty much sum it all up with another statement from John Kerry. "We have bridges and tunnels that aren't being secured, chemical plants, nuclear plants that aren't secured, hospitals that are overcrowded with their emergency rooms. If we had a disaster today, could they handle it? This president chose a tax cut over homeland security. Wrong choice. We didn't need that tax cut. America needed to be safe." In the 90's, Al-Qaida bombed the World Trade Center. They also carried out an attack on the Embassy in Africa. They also attacked the U.S.S. Cole. After all those attacks, they then took to the air. Al-Qaida has ALWAYS attacked us in a way we did not expect. Bush hikes up security at all the airports but what does he do at the nuclear plants? Nothing. What does he do at the water plants of major cities? Nothing. I remember on Halloween of 2001 (a month and a half after 9/11) I was going to a concert in Detroit. On the way there and back I passed the water treatment plant of Detroit. Both times passing it, on Halloween, in pitch black of night, the main gates were not only unlocked, but they were wide open. Anyone could have snuck in and poisoned the water. A reader had this to say... "I cannot understand why all passengers are checked at the airports but te cargo area goes unchecked. This does not make sense."

The Effectiveness of Bush's new F.A.A. (Federal Aviation Administration) regulations were not at all without fault. I can think of two stories I heard on the news right off the top of my head. The first one takes place in September of 2003 and it is about a 25 year old warehouse employee from New York named Charles McKinley. McKinley was arrested after successfully shipping himself to Dallas, Texas in a wooden crate that was stored in the cargo bay. On the way to Dallas Texas the plane even made a stop in Fort Wayne, Indiana. No one knew about him. He was in the cargo bay of the plane for two days and 15 hours. This is proof that John Kerry's statement was 100% accurate. If the cargo bays were x-rayed, this man would have been found. What if, instead of a man inside the wooden crate, it had been a bomb placed there by Al-Qaida? In an interview with Mr. McKinley he was quoted as saying "I'm sitting there thinking 'Oh my God, I don't know why I'm doing this' and the whole time I'm sitting there, I'm thinking like, 'Any minute, somebody will notice there's somebody sitting inside this crate, and they'll just leave the crate alone or they'll step back and ask, 'What's going on?' No one did."

The second story I can think of takes place on October 20th of 2003 and it is about a 20 year old college student named Nathaniel Heatwole . An American who read this book was quoted as saying this "Hey, Mr. Bush, I really don't think your security plans at the airports are really secure. Let's take a look at the Nathaniel Heatwole incident". Yes, ladies and gentlemen, let's take a look at the Nathaniel Heatwole incident. Mr. Heatwole risked his freedom to demonstrate that dangerous weapons can still be brought aboard airplanes and George Bush's security wasn't worth a damn. He even emailed the government letting them know weeks in advance of his plan. He successfully brought aboard banned items including box cutters which were ironically the EXACT same weapons used by the 19 hijackers on September the 11th, to test the nation's security. Once aboard, he hid the banned items in compartments in the bathrooms in the back of the plane. He later came forward and admitted to authorities to doing this. He was arrested for bringing banned weapons on the plane. What is this the honor system? If you can do it without getting caught then you don't have anything to worry about but if you tell on yourself then you go to jail? What does that say to you America? What it says to me is that the terrorists could do it all over again. Al Qaida certainly would not email the government telling them they were going to go on an airplane with banned items. This is why George W. Bush's security plan wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. Again I find myself quoting John Kerry . America, "Do you feel safer?"

CHAPTER 5

The War on Iraq

Maybe they didn't find Bin Laden because Bush didn't want to blame Osama Bin Laden or any other Saudis because, as we will see later in this book and as we have already seen, Bush is business associates of the Bin Laden Family and he is Best friends with the Saudi Arabian royal family even though, again as we will see later, Saudi Arabia has been condemned by Amnesty International for several human rights violations. Bush did not want to blame his friends and partners so who did he pass the buck on to? Who else but a man who made no threats to any American, nor attacked any American, except for back in the Gulf War. Saddam Hussein. President of Iraq. In a television interview, Richard Clark had this to say "The president in a very intimidating way left us, me and my staff, with the clear indication that he wanted us to come back with the word that there was an iraqi hand behind 9/11, because they have been planning to do something about Iraq before the time they had came into office". They could find no such indication. Nevertheless in March of 2003, George W. Bush invaded the country of Iraq. He was not going to stop the all out war waged on this country, that never once provoked America in any way, until its leader was out of power. His expressed reasons for going to war were few.

The first reason for Bush's invasion of Iraq was something that Americans heard plenty about. Come on everybody say it together. You all know what I'm talking about. Weapons of Mass Destruction. In many press conferences and interviews he has said that Saddam Hussein had, in his possession, stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction. He was so sure about it that he even had Donald Rumsfeld go on television and say that he knew the exact whereabouts of these weapons. Bush even had this to say "Saddam Hussein has gone thru elaborate lengths, spent enormous sums, taken great risks, to build and keep weapons of mass destruction". He also said on at least three occasions, when asked about these weapons, "He's got em".

Hmmm. Again that makes me think. If George W. Bush says all this now, then why is it that in early 2001, (February to be exact. Which was before September the 11th) Colin Powell said "He [Saddam] has not developed any significant capabilities with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors." Strangely in 2003 Colin Powell was singing a different tune. "Colin Powell's speech to the United Nations was a watershed moment in the run-up to the Iraq war. Powell's reputation as a moderate and credible voice made the evidence he presented about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction seem that much more impressive. But as State Department employee Greg Thielmann reveals, it was nothing but twisted and misleading evidence, trumped up to sell Bush's Iraq war."

If that wasn't enough, the United Nations head weapons inspector Hans Blix and his team of inspectors also found nothing as far as illegal weapons go in Iraq. In fact later on George W. Bush even admitted that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq as we see in this text from one of the 2004 presidential debates. "Mr. President, yesterday in a statement you admitted that Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction, but justified the invasion by stating, I quote, "He retained the knowledge, the materials, the means and the intent to produce weapons of mass destruction and could have passed this knowledge to our terrorist enemies." Hmm. Strange. Especially since in an above quote, (here it is again in case you missed it. "Saddam Hussein has gone thru elaborate lengths spent enormous sums taken great risks to build and keep weapons of mass destruction.") he said that Hussein did indeed have these weapons.

One minute Bush says there were such weapons then in the next he says there weren't. Which is it? If Bush were so concerned that these terrorists may have had nuclear weapons, why did he sit in that Florida classroom, while terrorists, for all he knew, may have been up in our sky with Iraq's nuclear weapon, ready to blow any major city to hell and back, reading about some stupid pet goat?

Even if Iraq did indeed have weapons of mass destruction, which I think I have made it pretty clear that they did NOT, so what? What country does not have weapons of mass destruction? The volume in cubic meters of radioactive waste resulting from American weapons activities is 104,000,000. This headline happens to agree with me "A leaked document suggests that Washington is beginning detailed planning for a new generation of smaller nuclear weapons." Here are 10 other facts about America's weapons program

1. Total number of nuclear missiles built, 1951-present: 67,500

2. Total number of nuclear bombers built, 1945-present: 4,680

3. Peak number of nuclear warheads and bombs in the stockpile/year: 193/1966

4. Total number and types of nuclear warheads and bombs built, 1945-1990: more than 70,000/65 types

5. Number of dismantled plutonium "pits" stored at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas: 12,067 (as of May 6, 1999)

6. States with the largest number of nuclear weapons (in 1999): New Mexico (2,450), Georgia (2,000), Washington (1,685), Nevada (1,350), and North Dakota (1,140)

7. Total known land area occupied by U.S. nuclear weapons bases and facilities: 15,654 square miles

8. Legal fees paid by the Department of Energy to fight lawsuits from workers and private citizens concerning nuclear weapons production and testing activities, from October 1990 through March 1995: ,000,000

9. This one, in my opinion, is more frightening than it is anything else. Number of U.S. nuclear bombs lost in accidents and never recovered: 11

10. Estimated 1998 spending on all U.S. nuclear weapons and weapons-related programs: ,100,000,000

You could say that even if Iraq did have these weapons, which they did not, all they had to do was disarm and destroy their weapons and this war could have been avoided. First off it's pretty hard to get rid of something you don't have, but let's say, hypothetically, Bush had been right. Iraq is not the only country that is "not cooperating with disarmament rules." In 1985, Congress mandated that the U.S. destroy more than 98 percent of its chemical weapons stockpile. Yet of the original total of 31,496 tons, there remains 24,144 tons to be destroyed. The United States stockpile of unitary lethal chemical warfare munitions consists of various rockets, projectiles, mines, and bulk items containing blister agents (mustard H, HD, HT) and nerve agents (VX, GB). About 60% of this stockpile is in bulk storage containers; 40% is stored in munitions. The stockpile is stored at eight sites throughout the Continental US (Edgewood Chemical Activity, MD; Anniston Chemical Activity, AL; Blue Grass Chemical Activity, KY; Newport Chemical Depot, IN; Pine Bluff Chemical Activity, AR; Pueblo Chemical Depot, CO; Desert Chemical Activity, UT; and Umatilla Chemical Depot, OR) and at one site outside of the Continental US on Johnston Atoll. Even though after 2010 this map will no longer be true, you get the point. (It will not be true because instead of keeping nuclear weapons stored around the nation, Bush thought it would be a good idea to put every nuclear bomb, missile, warhead, etc. we had in one place. Not only that, but the place he chose was a place called Yuka Mountain. This mountain lies in the heart of Nevada. Nevada, as you know, is in the western part of the U.S. The west is not exactly a stranger to earthquakes. What will happen when there is an earthquake and those nuclear items are disturbed. It is nearly impossible to predict an earthquake so there would be no way to prepare for it. All of Nevada would be wiped out. Is this plan safe for America? I don't think so. Do you?) A reader was outraged by this and said, "No weapons in Iraq, but the U.S. can have all they want. I thought most of the countries in the world have them. Who are we to say they can't have them?"

On January 12th 2005, the United States called off all searches for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. After all the speeches and all the lies, After Hans Blix and his crew found nothing, After the American troops found nothing, President Bush finally decided to give up. They found nothing. Yet again I am reminded of something Senator John Kerry said. "The president didn't find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, so he's really turned his campaign into a weapon of mass deception". I hope this finally puts the weapons of mass destruction claim to rest.

Let's analyze reason number 2. This is one of the few things Bush did right and even the one thing he does right, lo and behold, he finds a way to botch it up. The people of Iraq were oppressed. The people of Iraq did not have freedom of speech, religion, press, or any other freedoms we Americans love so much. In fact, if I was in Iraq during Saddam Hussein's reign, and I wrote something like this book about him, I would probably be assassinated. I remember a story about a French man who was making a documentary of how Saddam Hussein lived in luxury while his people lived in poverty and he had to lie to the Iraqi government and tell them he was making a movie called "Uncle Saddam". He stated the movie was to give the Iraqi people a more friendly look at their president and to help them connect with him. When the Iraqi government found out, they tried to have the film-maker assassinated. He caught a flight out of the country and back to France just in time.

I was skeptic at first to believe George Bush when he said how much the Iraqi people were oppressed considering how many times he has lied to me and the rest of America before. That all changed when I saw a broadcast of the MSNBC television show "Nachman". The show is no longer on MSNBC but I was amazed at what I saw. Slums everywhere. The only buildings that were not broken and in rubble were buildings with the likeness of Saddam Hussein. What REALLY made me a believer is the fact that on the Iraq election day, Saddam Hussein was running for president un-opposed. I considered it extremely un-likely that every single person in Iraq would agree with everything Hussein was doing. I imagined someone would step up to challenge him so they could leave their ghetto world behind and go live in the president's palace and run their home country that they love. I finally came to the realization that Bush was actually telling the truth. There was a dictatorship going on and the Iraqi people needed to be freed.

After Hussein's sons were killed and Saddam was finally captured there was more fighting and terrorism from the terrorists that have come in to fight the American troops. The majority of them were not Iraqis. The day came when Iraq was to hold free elections. There were over 20 people on the ballot. That is proof alone that the Iraqi people feared Saddam. The nation went out on that day to cast their votes. At the end of the day, 29 people were killed by car bombs and other terrorist attacks. Why were these terrorists there? Where did they come from?

That question has a simple answer. George W. Bush dropped the ball. When George Bush invaded Iraq, he did not guard the borders of the nation. Nor did he guard hospitals, schools, ammunition tents, or anything else. The only thing Bush guarded were the oil fields. This left the borders wide open for an estimated 30,000 foreign terrorists. In a quote by John Kerry in one of the 2004 presidential debates, John Kerry said about the terrorists in Iraq, "They showed up in Afghanistan when they were there, because they tried to beat us and they didn't. And they're showing up in Iraq for the same reason. They're trying to defeat us." These terrorists waged war on America and its "coalition" (if you can call it that... more on that later) and anyone supporting operation Iraqi freedom, including Iraq citizens that went out to cast their vote that day. That is why their are 29 more graves added to over 4,000 Iraqi civilian graves dug already. 4,000 Iraqi civilians is more than 2,973 civilians. George W. Bush has killed more innocent people than Osama Bin Laden. Maybe this is why a wise man was quoted as saying "Osama Bin Laden isn't as big of an ass-hole as George Bush is"

The 3rd reason Bush gave for going to war with a nation that posed no threat to us was, what he called, a link between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaida. Bush claimed that Iraq was harboring Al-Qaida terrorists and that he was funding them. Bush also stated that Iraq had been supplying weapons to Al-Qaida. If you recall earlier in the book, I mentioned something started by Congress, despite the protest, from Bush called "The 9/11 Commission". The 9/11 Commission did not only investigate why George Bush ignored the "Terrorism Security Briefing" but they also investigated whether or not there was indeed a link between Iraq and Osama Bin Laden, Al-Qaida, or any of their affiliates. After interrogations and deliberating, they found that George W. Bush had done it again. There was no such link between Iraq and Al-Qaida. Bush said in an interview "We have given extraordinary cooperation with Chairman Thomas Keen". The Chairman of the 9/11 Commission, Thomas Keen's response to that was "We haven’t gotten the materials we needed and we certainly haven’t gotten them in a timely fashion. The deadlines we set have passed".

As you can imagine, the rest of the world was not happy about George Bush's lies. Especially after Powell said all the above things to the U.N as if they were true. Maybe that's why more than 10,000,000 people worldwide protested this war. . Even here in America, those people America loves to follow, the celebrities, made their opinions heard. When film-maker and author, Michael Moore went on stage at the Oscars to accept his award for his movie "Bowling for Columbine", he gave a speech that got him booed off the stage. This was his acceptance speech. "Thank you. Thank you very much. On behalf of our producers, Kathleen Glynn, and Michael Donovan from Canada, I'd like to thank the Academy for this. I have invited my fellow documentary nominees on the stage with us, and we would like to, they are here, they are here in solidarity with me because we like non-fiction. We like non-fiction and we live in fictitious times. We live in the time where we have fictitious election results that elects a fictitious president. We, we live in a time where we have a president sending us to war for fictitious reasons. Whether it's the fiction of duct tape or the fiction of orange alerts, we are against this war. Mr. Bush, shame on you. Mr. Bush, shame on you. And any time you got the pope and the Dixie Chicks against you, your time is up. Thank you very much". Mr. Moore wasn't the only person who grabbed the microphone and gave their protest. Even rock bands like "Coldplay" got into the act. When they accepted their Grammy award, at the end of their speech, they said "and we just hope John Kerry wins the election". Bands like Green Day made songs dedicated to this man. Songs like American Idiot that said "Don't want to be an American Idiot. Don't want a nation under the new media. And can you hear the sounds of hysteria? The subliminal mind 'Fuck America'. Well maybe I'm the faggot America. I'm not a part of a redneck agenda. Now everybody do the propaganda. And sing along to the age of paranoia". Rock bands and film-makers weren't the only ones. As Michael Moore said, even the Dixie Chicks protested against the war , rappers did too. A Detroit rapper named Esham wrote a song called "No war". Here is an excerpt. "You go tell Uncle Sam, No war in Afghanistan, or Iraq, or Iran. Many people dyin man. Shots goin off in Bethlehem. Even in Jerusalem. Christians killin Muslims. Tell me what you doin man." An underground rap/rock band called "The Filthee Immigrants" went on tour with the Insane Clown Posse and, for that tour especially, they changed the name of their song "Fuck Everyone" to "Fuck George Bush". Our allies also turned their backs on us when it came to this war. Allies like France.

Let's talk about France for a second. France saw from the beginning that this war was ridiculous. They refused to send troops or help in any way. How did America respond? By boycotting anything having to do with France. There were protests in which French wine was poured down sewers, there were bumper stickers made that had the slogan "First Iraq, then France. Bush/Cheney 04" I saw the protest first hand when I worked as a dishwasher for a Big Boy restaurant. People would not touch the French dressing. When bussing tables, I would hear people say "I'll have a side of freedom fries". I would shake my head in disgust when I'd hear such idiocy coming out of the mouths of my fellow Americans. Even Jay Leno got into the act by saying "Of course I wouldn’t even drink anything French like Perrier let alone wash my car with it." One time, an otherwise very nice and wise woman, said to me, in defense of all the right-wing nut-jobs out there, "I was one of those protesters. After all that money we gave them and they didn't have to pay any of it back, they just turn their backs and say all those mean things about us".

Not many of you readers are leaders of nations so it's hard for you to relate to this case so I'll put it in terms you can understand. Suppose you have a friend that you go out for coffee and dinner with once in a while. Suppose you forget your wallet on more than one occasion. They buy your way. Suppose you get in trouble with the law and you need to be bailed out. Your friend is right there to help. Suppose your wife or husband dies and you can’t afford to make ends meet that month. Your friend helps you out. This friend never asks for a dime of it back. Let's say one day this friend called you on the phone and said he/she had this great idea. He/she was going to jump off a bridge with a rock tied around their leg and they asked you to join them. You, of course, know that this idea is a REALLY bad idea and it could result in not only the death of your friend, but the death of you as well. Your friend however is 100% convinced that this is a good idea. Your friend gets upset with you for trying to talk him/her out of it and calls you an "idiot" or something to that affect. Let's say your friend takes a picture of you and him/her and rips it up and throws the shreds down a sewer and says "You mean to tell me that after all that money I gave you and never asked for a dime of it back, you have the nerve to tell me I'm doing something wrong? This is for my own good and the good of you and everybody else".

Ladies and gentlemen, this was the same scenario with the United States and France. They thought our idea was stupid no matter how much we thought it was right. Lest ye right-wing nut-jobs also forget also that we are not the only gracious gift givers in this world. One of our most beloved American Icons, The beautiful Statue of Liberty, was given to America by a Frenchman named Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi on behalf of France as a gift. Also, America probably could not have won its freedom from the British during the American Revolution without the help of the French. France provided arms, ships, money, and men to the American colonies. France could then turn around and say to us "Well so you gave us money. Don't act like we never did anything for you. We saved your ass during your precious little revolution and we gave you that big statue on Ellis Island. How dare you pour our wine down a sewer? We are not the right-wing nut-jobs going off to war after lying to the whole world, you are!"

One thing is for certain though. After Bush's lies have been exposed by our own Congress, I sure don't hear anyone ordering "freedom fries" anymore. Viva la France! They were right all along!

France wasn't the only country that wanted nothing to do with us. Pakistani trade union leader Rubina Jamil, President of the All-Pakistan Trade Union Federation joined the call. Her federation represents over 5 million Pakistani workers who, she emphasized, are already familiar with the cost of US military action in Afghanistan, which they oppose. In a quote from her she stated that "This war is only for oil,". It's no surprise she thinks that considering that the only thing Bush guarded when he first invaded Iraq were the oil fields and that Iraq is the second largest oil reserve in the world.

Altogether there were only 31 countries that gave us troops. As John Kerry explains, that's not that much "If Missouri, just given the number of people from Missouri who are in the military over there today, were a country, it would be the third largest country in the coalition, behind Great Britain and the United States. That’s not a grand coalition. " Here is the rundown of troops supporting the United States from other countries
1. England. Prime Minister, Tony Blair, has sent a total of 12,400 troops to Iraq with us.

2. South Korea coming in second with an astonishing 3,500 troops.

3. Italy is third with 3,169

4.Poland with 2,500 troops

5. Ukraine with 1,589 troops

6. The Netherlands with 1,345 troops

7. Romania with 730 troops

8. Japan with 750 troops

9. Denmark with 496 troops

10. Bulgaria with 485 troops

11. El Salvador with 380 troops

12. Mongolia with 180 troops

13. Australia (the land of the wiggles ) with 520 troops

14. Georgia with 800 troops

15. Azerbaijan with 151 troops

16. Portugal with 128 troops

17. Latvia with 122 troops

18. The Czech Republic with 110 troops

19. Lithuania with 105 troops.

20. Slovakia also with 105 troops.

21. Albania with 71 troops.

22. Estonia with 55 troops

23. Armenia with 46 troops.

24. Tonga with 45 troops.

25. Macedonia with 33 troops.

26. Kazakhstan with 29 troops.

27. Moldova with 12 troops.

28. Norway with a whoppingly huge amount of 10 whole troops. Wow. Better pack the BIG canteen

29. Singapore has made contributions but has not send troops.

30. Hungary in the middle of 2005 will send 150 troops.

31. Fiji with 150 troops.

Altogether 30,133 troops. That is not all that much considering America had 11,000 troops in Afghanistan and there were more police in the city of Manhattan than troops over there. The United States makes up 95% of the casualties in this war. In all fairness, their was something I left out of this list of countries. Morocco offered to send 2,000 monkeys to help blow up land mines.

John Kerry also said at a presidential debate, "Mr. President, countries are leaving the coalition, not joining". Maybe what he meant were these statistics right here.

Countries which had troops in or supported operations in Iraq at one point but have pulled out since: Nicaragua (Feb. 2004); Spain (late-Apr. 2004); Dominican Republic (early-May 2004); Honduras (late-May 2004); Philippines (~Jul. 19, 2004); Thailand (late-Aug. 2004); New Zealand (late Sep. 04); Hungary (end Dec. 04).

Countries planning to withdraw from Iraq: Poland (starting Jan.05 and completed by end.05(?)); the Netherlands (Mar. 05); Bulgaria (end of 2005, depending on circumstances).

Countries which have reduced or are planning to reduce their troop commitment: Ukraine (-200); Moldova (reduced contingent to 12); Norway (reduced from ~150 to 10 late-Jun.04, early Jul.04); Bulgaria (-50, Dec.04); Poland (-700, Feb.05); Ukraine (entire contingent, 1st half of 2005).

Ladies and gentlemen, take a look at that list. Most of the countries have given less than 1,000 troops. A lot of them have given less than 500 troops. Some have even given less than 100 troops. A few have given less than 50 troops. One country (Morocco) offered to send 2,000 monkeys. 2,000 monkeys? Readers, this is NOT a grand coalition.

So why did the president have such a hard time getting nations to join? Well, as if his lies weren’t enough, maybe it can all be attributed to the Kyoto treaty. 160 nations took 10 years out of their busy schedules to write a treaty. It was flawed. It wasn't perfect but Bush did not try to offer any suggestions. He did not try to help. He simply walked away and said "First we would not accept a treaty that would not have been ratified, nor a treaty that I thought made sense for the country". He wouldn't want to ratify a treaty that made sense for the country??? Why doesn't that surprise me? Instead of helping out with the hard work of 160 countries for 10 years, he simply said "No way, Jose" and he wonders why no one will join the coalition.

If Bush would've used John Kerry's idea, maybe we wouldn't be in this mess. Here is what Senator John Kerry said at one of the debates. "I know I can do a better job in Iraq. I have a plan to have a summit with all of the allies, something this president has not yet achieved, not yet been able to do to bring people to the table."

So what's the real reason we were at war? Why did Bush move the troops so he had 10 times the number of troops in Iraq then you have in Afghanistan where Osama Bin Laden, the man who killed almost 3,000 Americans and tried to destroy the United States defense headquarters, was said to be hiding, and where more than 70% of the world's opium comes from? Is going after someone who never attacked us, or even threatened us for that matter, 10 times more important than someone who killed 3,000 of us? Bush said Iraq is the center for the war on terror. That is not true. Before he invaded it, Iraq had an estimated 30,000 fewer terrorists than it did when he got there. I heard Bush when he said "I’m a war president. I make decisions here in the oval office with war on my mind", but it is now 2005. The man who attacked us in the year 2001 is still at large planning God knows what and a man who did absolutely nothing to America is in jail. What's the real reason that, at last count, 1,447 U.S. soldiers had to die? Even though Bush put a gag order on all American media outlets, I was still able to get a picture of the American caskets that were filled with dead rotting carcasses. Carcasses of brothers, sons, daughters, wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, friends, and most importantly of all Americans that made the biggest, and last, mistake of their lives by trusting Bush as their commander in chief. The British used to talk about "the honor of battle". Where is the honor in this war? What's the real reason that over 4,000 Iraqi civilians are dead right now. Why is it that if you took the number of Iraqi civilians that were killed, it would be greater than the amount of American military casualties and the Iraqi military casualties combined.

I think Bush already answered these questions in a press conference, when he said, "After all, this is the guy that tried to kill my dad at one time" .

CHAPTER 6

The Troops Fighting The War on Iraq

Whether you like them or not, whether you agree with them or not, whether you think this war is right or wrong, I think we can all agree on one thing. These soldiers and Marines have courage. Some might even say that they have more guts than brains. After all, look who they go over there and die for. Look who they go over to Iraq and kill for. A liar and a cheat. Most of the troops in Iraq support George W. Bush. That would figure. It makes perfect sense because if they didn't support this war and they didn't support this president, why would they risk dying for him? You can't argue with the figures. Over 1,000 American troops have given their life to George W. Bush. Over 1,000 familes lives were crushed. Over 1,000 funerals took place. These troops left their lives behind. They left their jobs, wives, husbands, parents, friends, and everything else they held dear, behind to go support this man's personal agenda and, for over 1,000 of them, it was the last mistake they ever made. Let's see how George W. Bush thanks them for their sacrifice.

George W. Bush was quoted one time as saying "I thank the Congress for providing our servicemen and women with the resources they have needed. During this time of war we must continue to support our military and give them the tools for victory". Parents from Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, and other states were sending there kids, the troops, body armor as birthday presents. That is not their job. That is the job of the president and his staff. Perhaps Bush could also explain why 10,000 out of 12,000 Humvees that are over there aren't armored. There are 10,770 American men and women in the hospital with limbs blown off because they did not have proper armor. That's not my idea of "Providing our servicemen and women with the resources they have needed".

Before this war started, Saddam Hussein in an interview with an American newsman, challenged Bush to a debate so the two could talk the problem out like two civilized adults. What was Bush's response? "There's nothing to debate about". America has always gone to war as a last resort. You've got to be able to look in the eyes of families and say to those parents, "I tried to do everything in my power to prevent the loss of your son and/or daughter." Bush did not do everything in his power and now, we have the most U.S. casualties we have ever had since the Vietnam war. In one of the debates, when John Kerry said how Iraq is the wrong place to be and Bush should have been trying to capture Osama Bin Laden, Bush's response was "I don't see how you can lead this country to succeed in Iraq if you say wrong war, wrong time, wrong place. What message does that send our troops? What message does that send to our allies? What message does that send the Iraqis?" I have a response for Mr. Bush to that statement. Mr. Bush, what message does it send to our troops when their parents are buying them armor? What message does it send to our troops when they find out that 2 of the 3 big reasons you sent them off to fight, and in some cases die, were proven, by the Congress headed 9/11 Commission, to be lies? What message does it send to our allies when you don't even debate with Saddam Hussein to get to the bottom of the situation? What message does it send to the Iraqis when you kill over 4,000 of them when Iraq never even threatened America? If anyone has more flip-flops than Payless, it's YOU Mr. Bush!

I heard some right-wing nut-jobs the day before the presidential election of 2004, singing the praises of George Bush. Well I'm sure they would've if they could. They could not. So instead they decided to spread rumors about Bush's opponent. They said that Kerry supports the draft, when in one of the presidential debates, John Kerry said, as an answer to a question asked by Daniel Farley, "Daniel, I don't support a draft." If Bush cares so much about these troops and the families of the troops, why is it that after Officer Brett Petriken of the army died may 26th 2003, when it was time for the army to send the family his last check, they docked the final 5 days because he was not alive to work them?

Perhaps Bush can also explain to me why, in his 2005 State of the Union Address, when he stated his plan on paying for his new Social Security Privatizing Plan by cutting over 150 government programs, he did not say what these programs were. Maybe that's because some of these programs benefitted these troops returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan. Job placement for the troops that either quit their jobs, or the business they worked for went under. Job training programs for these troops were also on the list of programs to be cut. After seeing so much pain and death, you would think some of these soldiers might need psychological help. I guess that's not the case since George W. Bush is also planning to cut counseling for veterans. Maybe that's why, when he was campaining in Grand Rapids Michigan on November 3rd 2000, he said "Laura and I are proud to call John and Michelle Engler our friends. I know you're proud to call him governer. What a good man the Englers are." What a good man the Englers are indeed. Only a good man like the Englers would close down mental help facilities all over the state, forcing those sick people to be transferred to other facilities rather than doing the smart thing, and building new mental help facilities. I would MUCH rather pay a little more in taxes and help somone who is in the middle of a nervous breakdown and feels that every second of there life is a serious emotional pain in the heart. Especially if they had just got back from fighting for our freedom.

When a Hospital is overcrowded, the doctors can't give as much personal attention as they would like. Some of those people may have been in there for depression or suicide attempts. They need to be showed that they are cared about. What kind of message does it give to them when the doctor doesn't have time for them because they have so many other patients. I can think of one story where a girl in Detroit, put in notices to her psychiatrist every day for 2 weeks before he finally "made time" for her.. This is how Bush wants to treat the people that went to a foreign land and fought for him? That's not right!

While we're on the subject of how Bush rewards the troops for their hard sacrifice, maybe he can tell me why, at the end of there stay, an estimated 24,000 troops were told that there duty had been extended by 6 months. This not only happened once, but twice. Sounds like he could've used a few more troops. A few more troops wouldn't have been a good idea though especially since he couldn't afford to sufficiently give his troops that were currently serving enough armor. Why did Mr. Bush, instead of making America safe and instead of helping the troops, give more money to the richest citizens of America. Sure they pay taxes, but there are better things to do with that money than give it back to them.

Maybe this is why some of our troops, like Kyle Waldman of the U.S. army, disapporove of Bush. On February 27th 2004, Waldman wrote, in a letter, "I was a naive 19 year old looking for a different route in life. Like most enlisted solders, we signed our lives away before actualy going through a self scrutinizing process to help us learn what a demanding commitment it was. When a prospective enlistee arrives at the recruiters station, the thing that lured us in was not a poster saying "Come and die for us even if it means that that action may go against everything you believe in", it was "get your ,000.00 for college. As most people know, recruiters aren't the most honest people but they sure do have a wonderful sales pitch." In one case, after a gentleman already declined recruiters Sergeant Dale Khortman and Raymond Plouhar of the Marines, they continued to ask him for his personal information. They said to him "What I wanna do, man, real quick, is get some information from ya so i can scratch you off my list." They continued to ask the man for his name, phone number, and address. What list were they talking about. Did they honestly mean to give this man the impression that they had a list of everyone eligible to join the Marines in this town? Did they want him to get the impression that they were going around trying to find every body on the list?

Mr. Waldman wasn't the only one who had had it with this war. On July 13, 2004, National Guard infantry-man, Michael W. wrote "While in iraq, I have had some heated debates over our involvement in the war. Some of my more right- wing blind-follower soldier buddies have said to me, on more than one occasion, "He is our commander, and you should just go along with the program" my response is BULLSHIT!"

As these two letters should prove, some people are not going to believe and trust everything Bush says. Some people don't want to take the easy way out just because it's more convenient. This soldier did not just want to go along with the program, because he knew what Bush was really up to.

Brad Hastings, who is stationed in Baghdad, said "I grew up as a Republican but I will not be voting for Bush. That is for sure. One of the last things my father told me, a few months berfore he passed away, was that we were going to witness one of the most corrupt and brutal presidents America has ever seen. That stuck with me even before I came to Iraq. I have never been so disappointed in somone. I have spent all of my off time looking at some facts online and every day I see things Bush has done that I have to go outside and take long cigarette breaks. I call my wife and vent to her. It sucks because she suffers more than me because she has to hear me vent so much that we hardly ever get a chance to talk about anything else".

Andrew Balthazor, who was also stationed in Iraq, said "Since bush exposed my person, friends, peers, and subordiantes to unnecessary danger in a war apparantly designed to generate income for a select few in the upper echelon of America, I have become whole-heartedly anti-Bush, to the chagrin of much of my pro Republican family".

A man named Anthony Pietsch said, "I've found that many of the people in my unit and army wide, who have commonly voted for the Republican party, have been changing their views about the party. Especially concerning the man in charge".

Captain Abdul Henderson of the United States Marine Corps. said, "If called up again I will not go back to Iraq. I'm facing possible jail time but I'm willing to risk that. I will not let anyone send me back over there to kill people especially when they pose no threat to me and my country......... I won't do it."

Specialist Willy (as he wanted to be referred to) said "It's hard listening to my platoon sergeant saying, "If you decide you want to kill a civilian, shoot him. I'd rather fill out paperwork than get one of my soldiers killed by some raghead." Some raghead? That term is, in my opinion, somehwat racist.

Some of the troops over there don't give two hoots about Iraq. One soldier was in support of Mr. Bush and this war. This is what he had to say "It's the ultimate rush because you know your goin into the fight to begin with then you got a good song playing in the background and that gets you real fired up and ready to do the job. This is what most of us listen to. Drowning Pool "Let the bodies hit the floor." It's just fitting for the job were doing. Let the bodies hit the floor". Here are the lyrics to the song this soldier was speaking of

"Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor Beaten why for
Can't take much more
One - Nothing wrong with me
Two - Nothing wrong with me
Three - Nothing wrong with me
Four - Nothing wrong with me
One - Something's got to give
Two - Something's got to give
Three - Something's got to give
Now
Let the bodies hit the floor
Push me again
This is the end
Skin against skin blood and bone
You're all by yourself but you're not alone
You wanted in now you're here
Driven by hate consumed by fear
Let the bodies hit the floor"

I was under the impression that these troops were there to help the Iraqi people. After hearing that, I'm not so sure that those are their intentions. The same people the troops are supposed to be liberating, are being killed.

Another soldier, who was asked what song he prefers to have playing on the c.d. player in the tank, said "We picked the roof is on fire because basically it symbolized Baghdad being on fire and, at the time, we wanted it to burn. The roof the roof. The roof is on fire. We don't need no water let the mutherfucker burn. Burn mutherfucker. Burn!" Perhaps a better fitting song for these particular Bush supporting troops would have been "Loser" by Beck, which lyrics are as follows "Soy un perdador. I'm a loser baby so why don't you kill me?"

These two were not the only ones mistreating Iraqi citizens. In the month of April 2004, there was a prisoner abuse scandal at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. This prison was used to detain Iraqi prisoners of war. The American soldiers there stooped to the same level as the evil dictator they were trying to remove by torturing these Iraqi prisoners. They made some prisoners stand on a box with electrodes strapped to their fingers. They were told that if they stepped off the box they would be shocked. The prisoners were forced to stand in a line, naked, while the soldiers laughed at and humiliated them . They were chained to walls with underwear over there heads . They were forced to stand naked while a vicious dog barked at them not knowing if it were going to attack. . They were even forced to form a naked Iraqi prisoner pyramid. . There were other things they were forced to stand with their legs crossed and their arms out while they were covered in fecal material . Some of these prisoners were even stripped and then leashed like animals .What kind of message does this send to the Muslim world? A very outspoken supporter of Mr. Bush, who is also the self-proclaimed "Founder of the Limbaugh Institute for conservative studies" had called this incident a mere "prank" by the American soldiers. This man that did this was none other than Rush Limbaugh. Take a look at these pictures. These Iraqis were terrified. They were being terrorized by the American troops there. The only reason why somone, in my opinion, would merely call this a prank is because their brain cells are dead for some reason. Hmm. Drug use has been known to kill brain cells. Sure enough, Rush Limbaugh went into rehabilitation for pain medicine addiction in one of the earlier years of this century.

Mr. Bush has made it obvious that he does not give a damn about the troops. He can take all the photos with troops and fake plastic turkeys he wants but he will never change my mind. He also said at one of the 2004 debates that he had no plans yet of setting a date to withdraw the American troops from Iraq . I think it's about time he did set a date. Haven't the people of Iraq suffered enough?

CHAPTER 7

Saudi Arabia

This chapter takes us back in time a little bit. Back to the days when George W. Bush was in the Texas Air National Guard. George Bush got suspended for failing to take a medical examination that, among other things, tested for drugs in the body (more on this later). He was not authorized to be absent from duty that day. This technically confirmed him as AWOL (Absent With Out Leave). When, at a New Hampshire speech, author and film-maker Michael Moore, called Bush a "deserter" for this, the White House in response publicized a censored copy of George Bush's military record. What they did not know is that Mr. Moore had previously obtained a copy of Bush's record before his administration could get to it with there trusty black permanent marker. This uncensored copy, did indeed, state the fact that Bush did go AWOL and was suspended for it. It also stated that eventually down the road he was discharged. The difference between the censored copy and the uncensored copy were three little words. James R. Bath.

James R. Bath was a good friend of George W. Bush in the National Guard and they remained good friends after being discharged. George Bush went on to become founder of a Texas based oil company called "Arbusto". As for James Bath, he went on to become the founder of an aviation company. One day he sold a plane to Salem Bin Laden. That was not the only connection Mr. Bath had with the Bin Laden family. He was also there finance manager. Getting back to George W. Bush, his oil company was not doing so well, so he turned to his friends from Saudi Arabia, the Bin Ladens, to bail him out. On behalf of the Bin Laden family, James R. Bath invested ,000.00 into Bush's Arbusto oil company. Even with this money, Bush and his company still went under.

Bush was finally bought by a company called "The Harken Energy Corporation". Harken gave George Bush a spot on the board of directors. Bush, being the ethical business man that he is, was placed under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission for insider trading (for those that don't know, insider trading is what Martha Stewart was arrested, convicted, and jailed for. It is when you are given information about a company that is not available to the public and then, based on that information, you sell or buy stock in a company accordingly to how a company is said to be doing.) George Bush received word from his lawyers not to sell any stock if he had information that Harken would be doing badly. Later that month, he sold ,560.00 worth of Harken stock. The law stated that any insider stock deals were to be reported promptly, in Bush's case by July 10, 1990. He didn't file the stock sale with the SEC until the first week of March 1991.He was sued for this and his smooth talking lawyer was able to get him off. When Bush became president, he did not forget this favor. He appointed this same lawyer to the position of ambassador to Saudi Arabia, which was the same country that invested thousands in Harken.

It's no secret that Bush has some best friends over in Saudi Arabia. The ambassador of Saudi Arabia to America even has a nickname in the Bush family. They consider him one of the family because he is so close and they even call him "Bandar Bush". Bandar is also a prince of the Saudi royal family. Bandar is so well protected when he comes to America that he is given a six man protection crew that follows him around everywhere.

So what's the big deal? Bush is friends with the Saudi Arabians. I'll be glad to tell you why this is a problem. Amnesty International has condemned Saudi Arabia for several human rights violations. Here is some information I got directly from there website. "Amnesty International is gravely concerned at the recent increase in executions in Saudi Arabia. Eight people have reportedly been executed in less than one week bringing the total number of executions documented to at least 31 this year. The eight include four Pakistanis, three Iraqis and one Saudi Arabian. Trials in Saudi Arabia are often grossly in violation of international standards for fair trials. They often take place behind closed doors. Most defendants are not given the right to a lawyer and the right to an effective appeal. They may also have been convicted solely on the basis of confessions obtained under duress, torture or deception. Foreign workers are particularly vulnerable as many do not speak Arabic and may be forced to sign a confession in a language they cannot understand. They also do not have access to their family and in many instances, consular assistance."

"Almost half of those executed so far this year in Saudi Arabia have been foreign nationals. There were seven Pakistanis, one Sudanese, one Yemeni, four Iraqis, 17 Saudi Arabians and one Sri Lankan woman." "According to press reports at least five civilians were killed by the armed group. A number of other civilians were said to have been injured after they were taken hostages and used as a human shield by members of the group against security forces. The five who were killed were reportedly expatriate workers from Sudan, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Pakistan and Yemen. Deliberate killing of civilians and killing of hostages are serious crimes under international law. Amnesty International calls for the perpetrators of these crimes to be brought to justice in accordance with international standards."

"The cycle of political violence in Saudi Arabia has intensified since May 2003 with increased lethal attacks by armed groups. The government pursuit of the so called "war on terror" with disturbing disregard for the rule of law and international human rights standards have also resulted in multiple human rights violations. A number of bombings, including suicide bombings, as well as individually targeted killings of mainly civilian westerners, have been carried out by armed groups or individual gunmen. Government forces have been involved in house raids and street chases of suspected armed groups and individuals, often with fatal consequences. Scores of civilians are reported to have been killed since May 2003, but the exact number and circumstances surrounding the killings are not known to Amnesty International due to government policy and practice of secrecy."

"Amnesty International reiterates its call to armed groups in Saudi Arabia as well as the government to uphold international law and standards which prohibit the targeting of civilians, hostage taking and extrajudicial killings." "According to press reports the gunmen targeted their attack on offices of oil companies and homes of employees, mainly expatriate workers from different nationalities. The deliberate and targeted killing of civilians on grounds of religion, race or nationality and killing of hostages are serious crimes under international law. Amnesty International calls for the perpetrators of these crimes to be brought to justice in accordance with international standards."

"Amnesty International today called on the Saudi Arabian authorities to release people being detained for taking part in peaceful protest demonstrations. The Saudi Arabian authorities must immediately and unconditionally release all people held solely for the non-violent expression of their conscientiously held beliefs. The protest took place while a human rights conference organized by the Saudi Arabian Red Crescent was taking place in Riyadh. Um Sa'ud, one of three women arrested with the group and held in al-Malaz prison in Riyadh, was reportedly beaten and ill-treated during her arrest by security forces. She is said to have carried the picture of her son, Sa'ud al-Mutayri, who is believed to have died in al-Ha'ir prison during the fire which occurred in the prison on 15 September 2003. Um Sa'ud was apparently calling for the return of his body to the family. Amnesty International fears that Um Sa'ud and other detainees may be at risk of torture and ill-treatment in detention. Critics of the state are often at risk of indefinite detention without charge or trial. They are often ill-treated or tortured. Detainees do not have the right to formal representation by a lawyer and in many cases detainees and their families are not informed of the progress of legal proceedings against them."

"Saudi Arabia is gearing up for the country's first nationwide municipal elections early next year, but half of the population will not be taking part. Women have been excluded. This is contrary to the country's election law, which does not explicitly ban women from taking part. Saudi Arabia's electoral law is clear about women's participation. The law uses the word "citizen" -- in Arabic, this refers to both men and women in indicating those eligible to vote. Despite this, Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdel Aziz announced last month that women would not be allowed to take part in the elections, saying "I don't think that women's participation is possible."

On one occasion, Bush was quoted as saying "The peace we seek will only be achieved by eliminating the conditions that feed radicalism and ideologies of murder". Saudi Arabia is clearly cruel to its citizens. It sounds to me like they were just as cruel to there citizens as Saddam Hussein was to the people of Iraq. Why does Bush tolerate this, especially after making that quote? Well, it seems George W. Bush must have a very rare medical condition. The more money someone gives him, the less cruel and evil they seem in his mind. In fact, over the course of 30 years, through oil investments and other transactions, The Saudi royal family has given the Bush family $1,400,000,000.00. The Saudis also have an estimated ,000,000,000.00 invested in the economy of America. That is roughly 6% of the economy. Needless to say, if they took that money out, it would be an enormous blow to America's economy. Hmm. 6% of the economy, Bandar has a 6 man security team. Bandar has 6 letters in his name. Put those numbers together. What do you get? Yeah. That's right. The mark of the beast.

Bandar and his other government officials aren't the only ones who are Saudis. The Bin Laden family (including Osama Bin Laden) is also originally Saudi Arabian, as well as 15 of the 19 September 11th plane hijackers. Al-Qaida was also funded by Saudi money. It's no wonder why after Congress published the 9/11 commission report George Bush had censored 28 pages, most of which were about his relationship with Saudi Arabia. Seems strange that Saddam Hussein, a man who didn't give Bush diddly-squat as far as money goes, is in jail right now, while a country like Saudi Arabia can do the same things and be just fine by him. Explain that one to us Georgie boy!

CHAPTER 8

George W. Bush's Team

When George Bush took office in 2001, he had to pick out people to make up his cabinet . Some of the selections he has made have left me, and half of America, wondering what he was thinking.

If the name Spence Abraham sounds familiar, it's because he was a Michigan senator until the year 2000 when he lost the spot to Democrat Debbie Stabenow. Luckily for him, Bush did not mind picking losers to be on his team. Abraham was appointed to the position of Secretary of Energy. When Mr. Abraham was on the senate, he voted against increasing fuel efficiency requirements on sport utility vehicles (or as they more recently have been known as "Esuvees"). Bush, appointing a man who does that to the spot of secretary of energy, does not surprise me. Especially since Bush was the man that cut funding by 28% for research into cleaner, more efficient cars and trucks. Bush also revoked rules that reduced the acceptable levels of arsenic in drinking water. These two are perfect for each other. Neither one of them knows anything about keeping a clean and safe environment.

Abraham was not the only loser appointed to the cabinet. Former Attorney General John Ashcroft lost in a senate election in 2000 to a dead man. Mel Carnahan was the man Ashcroft was running against and a month before the election, Carnahan passed away in a plane crash. There was not enough time to get his name off the ballot so it stayed on. The election went on and John Ashcroft lost. Lt. Gov. Roger Wilson moved up to succeed Carnahan. Wilson said he would appoint Carnahan's widow, Jean, to the Senate seat if her husband Mel had received more votes than John Ashcroft. He did. Therefore Jean Carnahan had defeated John Ashcroft when her name was not even on the ballot.

It's no surprise why the people in the home state of wrestler Madman Pondo did not vote for Ashcroft. The people of Missouri knew what Ashcroft was all about. They knew all too well what all of America would soon find out.

Before 9/11, the CIA went to Tom Pickard about warnings of a terrorist attack. Pickard passed it on to Ashcroft. He also passed along the fact that some of Osama Bin Laden's agents were taking flight lessons in America. Pickard told John Ashcroft these things on at LEAST 2 separate occasions. Ashcroft responded with "I don’t want to hear about this anymore". Just like George Bush, John Ashcroft, Attorney General, totally ignored warnings of what was to become the nation's largest foreign terrorist attack on America.

John Ashcroft was also responsible for coming up with The Patriot Act. The Patriot Act states that any American’s records such as medical and financial, computer, phone conversations, emails, and library books, even if you have not been convicted of a crime, may be pulled. This was deemed as a massive violation of the fourth amendment which states "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." In layman's terms, the Fourth Amendment says "Not without a warrant, you're not" Trent Lott said of the Patriot Act "Good. Maybe now we can do things we've wanted to do for the last 10 years" Trent Lott was later fired for an unrelated incident in which he said, about a segregationist, "If he had gotten elected, we wouldn't have all the problems we have today".

Ashcroft contradicted this plan with something he had done earlier. As his first pro-gun act of his new job, he announced a plan that would force all gun records to be destroyed 24 hours after their purchase. This man wants any government official to be able to go through the records and private conversations of any American regardless of their criminal status, while months before, he was pushing for a bill that would enable potential terrorists to get AK-47's and have the only records of the purchase, which give the name, address, dates, and other information about the buyer, destroyed within 24 hours of the purchase.

As stated by George Bush in an excerpt from one of the 2004 presidential debates, John Kerry was for weakening the authority level given to figures by the Patriot Act. "The Patriot Act is vital, by the way. It's a tool that law enforcement now uses to be able to talk between each other. My opponent says he hadn't changed his position on it. No, but he's for weakening it."

John Ashcroft was also against job discrimination protection for gays. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't businesses supposed to be "equal opportunity"? How is it equal opportunity if you have a straight man and a gay man applying for the same job and the straight man gets it simply because he is not gay like the other "fruitcake" that applied? Gays are Americans too, Mr. Ashcroft.

Anyone that knows me knows that I do not trust Microsoft as far as I can throw them and I have been looking for a smoking gun on them for years. So when I read about what happened in this next part, my eyes lit up like Christmas trees.

At a Republican senatorial fundraiser that John Ashcroft was having, Microsoft founder Bill Gates donated ,000.00 to Ashcroft's cause. ,000 dollars is peanuts to Bill Gates who is worth, at last check, an astonishing ,500,000,000.00. Later on, Gates was sued for creating a monopoly. The court ordered that Microsoft be split into two companies. Because Gates scratched Ashcroft's back, it was now Ashcroft's turn to return the favor. As Attorney General, Ashcroft had the power to free Bill Gates from this ruling allowing him to have a continuing monopoly. Ashcroft exercised this power to its fullest extent. That is why, to this day you never here the word's, "Microsoft's twin company" even though a judge ordered it so.

Thank God that on November 10th, 2004, John Ashcroft finally did something right and resigned from his job. He quit. I say "see ya later Johnny. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out... On second thought go ahead and DO let the door hit you in the ass on the way out."

The man Bush chose to replace Mister Ashcroft has been coming along nicely too. George Bush nominated Alberto Gonzalez to be Ashcroft's replacement and first Latino-American Attorney General. Alberto Gonzalez sent Mr. Bush a memo after the prisoner abuse at Abu-Ghraib (see chapter 6 if you do not know what that is) stating that it was OK to torture these people and members of the Taliban because they were not protected by the Geneva Convention. In a memo he stated that torture of Taliban members was OK because of these 2 reasons.

1. He claimed that Afghanistan was a failed state and because the Taliban did not exercise full control over the territory and people, they were not recognized by the international community, and was not capable of fulfilling its international obligations".

2. The fact that the Taliban, which was the government of Afghanistan, and its forces were not a government. They were a militaristic group of terrorist dictators.

He also stated that "The nature of [the war on terror] places a high premium on factors such as the ability to quickly obtain information from captured terrorists and their sponsors." On another occasion he expressed concern that certain language such as "outrages upon personal dignity" and "inhuman treatment" are undefined and that it is difficult to predict with confidence what action might constitute violations, and that it would be "difficult to predict the needs and circumstances that could arise in the course of the war on terrorism."

I know there are a lot of big words in the above paragraph and even I had to read it a couple times, so I will try to break it down. Alberto Gonzalez who was, unfortunately appointed Attorney General after much protest by the Democrats, basically says that it is OK to torture terrorists because we are in a war on terror. He uses the loophole that "outrages upon personal dignity and inhuman treatment" are undefined. That means that "torture" is very hard to define. What one person might look at and call torture, another may look at and call a "mere-prank" (sound familiar?) The second part of the above paragraph means it is necessary to take these actions because we must get important information. Alberto, how do you know that Saddam Hussein wasn’t just "trying to get important information" out of the people he tortured? How can you define the difference of torture between what those troops did and what Hussein did?

Mr. Gonzalez, in the American justice system, there is a law that states that any evidence obtained by police through torture may not be used in a court of law. We are supposed to uphold the American way of life when dealing with other nations of the world. You are in favor of violating U.S. military principles which emphasizes maintaining the highest standards of conduct in combat. Why are you in favor of taking the humanitarian policies Americans holds so dear and throwing them in the garbage? Look at the pictures from Abu-Ghraib. Torture is WRONG! We are the United States of America. We are not Saudi Arabia or the Taliban or Saddam Hussein. Why are you stooping to their level? We are supposed to say to the people of Afghanistan "No one should ever be tortured. It is against the laws of human decency. Now watch us torture your ex-government".

Bush appointing this man does not surprise me since he is the same person that first coined the word "misunderstanding" as seen in a quote by him "I’ve coined new words. like misunderstanding and hispanically". Look up "misunderstanding" in any dictionary. It's there and has been there since long before George Bush was even born.

Moving right along to the next member of the Bush administration, George W.Bush also said at one time, that he would not appoint a judge who put their religious beliefs before the duties of their job. He used the "One nation under God" issue as an example. He said he would never appoint someone to a federal judgeship who believed that it should be in the Pledge of Allegiance because that showed that they, indeed, did let their personal religious beliefs interfere with the separation of church and state. Why then did George W. Bush nominate Michael McConnell, who is the leading critic of separation of church and state, for a federal judgeship? What was it the right-wing nut-jobs were saying about John Kerry? I believe it was that he "had more flip-flops than payless". Well it sure does sound like Bush has his share of flip flops in his shoe closet too.

What about the man that Bush selected to be his running mate? Dick Cheney. I'm sure they don't call him Dick for nothing right George? They want you to believe that they call him Dick because his name is Richard which Dick is a short name for. As you will see, I think people call him Dick because that is exactly what he is.

Dick Cheney was head of a company called Halliburton. Halliburton worked with many oil companies. Cheney ignored massive human rites violations in order to do business with Burma, Libya, Iran, and Iraq (which Halliburton did all the time in the 90s). Halliburton serviced companies like Exxon, Shell, Chevron, and Unocal which is located in Texas. in 1996 (the same year Osama Bin Laden had taken up residence in Afghanistan with the Taliban's blessing, and the same year Bin Laden first issued the "We must call for a jihad. Death to America. Death to the infidels" address) Unocal, which is funded by Halliburton and located in, what was then George W. Bush governed, Texas, teamed up with the Saudi owned company "Delta Oil" to bring a pipeline thru the Caspian Sea and into the Taliban led Afghanistan. Delta is headed by Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi, who has been investigated for ties to Osama Bin Laden. In 2000, Cheney denied that Halliburton was doing business with Iraq. In 2001, The Washington Post reported that he had 2 subsidiaries doing business with Iraq and that it had made Halliburton ,086,653.00. George and Dick? I'd like you to meet Beavis and Butthead. I'm sure you four will get along just fine especially since you have so much in common.

Long before Dick Cheney was doing business with evil dictators for millions of dollars in profit, He was up to some other bad deeds. Way back in the 1960's, Cheney was arrested twice in an eight month period in his home state of Wyoming for drunk driving. Doesn't this man sound like a great man to preside over the United States Senate and maybe even become U.S. President should George Bush choke on another pretzel? George Bush sure did think so when he chose him as his running mate. What do you think readers?

No one, in my opinion, in the Bush administration, has more flip-flops than this man right here . Former United States Secretary of State, Colin Powell. In Feb of 2001, Colin Powell said about Saddam Hussein "He [Saddam] has not developed any significant capabilities with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power agaist his neighbors." Then, somehow within the next two years, everything changed. In early 2003, Powell proceeded to give a speech to the United Nations on why the world should join the United States in invading Iraq. Powell had stated how Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and intended on using them on America. He also said that Iraq was linked to Al-Qaida. Both these claims, as you already know (being the smart person that you are), were proven to be false by the 9/11 commission. "Colin Powell's speech to the United Nations was a watershed moment in the run-up to the Iraq war. Powell's reputation as a moderate and credible voice made the evidence he presented about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction seem that much more impressive. But as State Department employee Greg Thielmann reveals, it was nothing but twisted and misleading evidence, trumped up to sell Bush's Iraq war" As we all know by now, Colin was right the first time, when in 2001, before the attack of September 11th, he said that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. In January of 2005, George Bush called off the search for these mysterious weapons that nobody has ever seen and NOTHING was found. Why Colin Powell was chosen to press the ball down at the Times Square New Year’s Eve party to ring in 2005, is beyond me.

How about the man Bush chose to be the United States Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld. As we already heard in a previous chapter, the troops over seas did not have adequate armor. In fact, their parents were buying it over the internet for their children in Iraq. At the end of their stay, some troops (some 24,000 troops) were told that their duty had been extended by 6 months. This not only happened once but twice. They could have used more troops but obviously, they didn't have enough armor for the troops they DID have over there, so I guess it would be pretty hard to accommodate any more troops.

Speaking of the war on Iraq, I believe it was Rumsfeld that said "The care that goes into targeting and the humanity that goes into it is as impressive as anything anyone could see." If that is a fact, then why is it that one American soldier was quoted as saying "There were a lot of innocent civilians that were killed and I think that is because the U.S. army... ya know... uh... we came in and we knew it wasn’t gonna be easy... and they pretty much at first shot anything that moved" A lot of innocent civilians is right. Try over 4,000 innocent civilians.

Another U.S. soldier was quoted as saying "We called in with some artillery and napalm and things like that. Some innocent women and children got hit. We met them on the road and they had... I mean... little girls with noses blown off and uh... and like... husbands carrying their dead wives and things like that. That was extremely difficult to deal with cuz your like shi.... ya know... shoot. What the hell'd we do now?"

Someone is lying here, and I have a tendency to believe the words of 2 soldiers over the word of 1 geezer. Especially since another troop, who was stationed in Iraq, was quoted as saying "If Donald Rumsfeld were here right now, I'd ask him for his resignation".

Let's take a look at how Rumsfeld handled things on the home-front. The defense department came up with this color coded system that would tell us exactly what the chances of a terrorist attack were. On all the Christmases, Easters, Thanksgivings, New Years parties, Halloweens, and other holidays, the terror level would go up because the White House claimed to have intelligence that Al Qaida was going to attack. Has anyone seen this intelligence? It seems strange that in the past, Al-Qiada has ALWAYS waited until we least expected it, and then, all of a sudden, they would do it on a holiday after we were all warned by the White House. There has been 1 instance of the color warning going up, where these threats had any real physical proof. When a select few Americans received letters in the mail that contained anthrax in the envelope. Every other time the color would go up, Al Jazeera, or any other news network or any intelligence at all for that matter, never said anything about any new threats or showed any new tapes that were recorded by Osama Bin Laden indicating that a threat was imminent or any other news indicating that a terrorist threat was imminent.

If the defense department, headed by Donald Rumsfeld, was so concerned about the possibility of a terrorist attack, why is it that 95 percent of all containers coming into the U.S. ports, were not inspected. Civilians got onto aircrafts, and their luggage was X-rayed, but the cargo hold was not X- rayed. I used this example earlier also. What if there had been a bomb in the cargo bay. It would have been possible. After all, need I remind you of the 25 year old factory worker who successfully shipped himself in the cargo bay? As you can see from this quote "I submitted my resignation to President Bush twice during that period and told him that...I felt that he ought to make the decision as to whether or not I stayed on. And he made that decision and said he did want me to stay on." Donald Rumsfeld tried to do the right thing and quit his job that he so badly botched, but George Bush would not hear of it. Rumsfeld knew he was failing but George Bush would not let him quit. Everybody, including Rumsfeld, knew he was not fit for the job. Bush decided that he knew Donald Rumsfeld better than Rumsfeld knew himself and kept him on as Defense Secretary. What does that say to you America? I think that is a big to America by George W. Bush. Just pop the c.d. that came with this book into any computer that is equipped with "Windows Video Player" and get a nice video greeting from our president.

One thing George Bush has said publicly about his administration was this. "I made some mistakes in appointing people, but I'm not going to name them. I don't want to hurt their feelings on national TV." Don't worry George. You don't have to embarrass them. I may not have a national T.V. forum but I'll mention these people anyway. Colin Powell, Spence Abraham, John Ashcroft, Dick Cheney, Alberto Gonzalez, Michael McConnel, and Donald Rumsfeld.

CHAPTER 9

The Marriage Protection Amendment

George W. Bush has made it obvious that he is not exactly, gay friendly. In the 2005 State of the Union Address given by George Bush, he called for a U.S. Constitutional Marriage Protection Amendment. Although nothing has come of it yet, this would basically state that the ONLY way anyone in America could get married, is if one of the people was a man and the other person were a woman. Gays would NOT be eligible to get married under this new amendment.

Why would Bush say this if, back in 1996, Bill Clinton passed the "Defense of Marriage" act that stated that each and every individual state had the right to put a state marriage protection amendment on there ballot and then go from there? This act protected states from any type of federal ruling. Why was this not sufficient for George? Why did George Bush want to tell the whole nation what they had to do? Why wasn't Bill Clinton's idea good enough? Well you may think it strange, that in the whole State of the Union speech, the marriage protection amendment only came up once. Even when it came up it was only one sentence. Maybe this is because of a little something known as the Arlington Group. The Arlington Group's headquarters are located in Southern America but they also have chapters all over the country. They are an extremely conservative organization that is full of right-wing nut-jobs. Right-wing nut-jobs like the group's founder Paul Weyrich.

So this group is full of idiots. There are a lot of groups that are full of idiots. What's sp different about this one. Well the other groups out there that are full of idiots did not write Carl Rove of the White House, letters for a month saying that unless George Bush says something in his State of the Union speech about a constitutional marriage protection amendment, that they would not support him on Social Security or in any other way like the Arlington Group did. In an interview on Hardball with Chris Matthews, when Norah O Donnelly was asked if that was enough support, she said "Yes. Yes I think it will be." Hmm. That sounds like the old "I'll scratch your back and I'll tell you what you can stretch" thing again?

I have done online interviews with a few openly gay Americans. The first one said this "Tx(censored for privacy issues)boi77: What I don't understand is why does it bother other people like Bush...after all he is the leader of the free world....yet the word free is used loosely...we are not free to do what everyone else can do like get married" The word free is, indeed used loosely. After all Bush's own Attorney General John Ashcroft was against anti-discrimination of gays. I always thought that it was the personal right of every American couple in love to get married. I guess not. I asked this gentleman what persecutions he faced simply for being gay. He stated "I have had the crap beaten out of me cause I'm gay...I was in the hospital for a week. High school was hard for me too cause I was picked on all the time but you know what? I graduated". This gentleman also said "I can remember one thing Bush said and I quote "By allowing gay marriage, it takes the principles out of our society if we have gay's getting married they can not have children and our society will die " Well let me tell you it was a straight person saying that and this society will not die. Us gays are not trying to take over the world, just be a part of it and be treated like the straights." I asked him if he felt George Bush was representative of all of America. After all it was George Bush who said "I want everybody to hear loud and clear that I'm going to be the president of everybody." The gentleman responded by saying "No he is not representative at all. He is like the anti-gay"

If gays were allowed to get married, it does not mean our society will die. Married people are not the only ones who have children. In this country there are 1,100,000 unwed pregnancies every year. Not to mention 2,900,000 married pregnancies every year. There is also no limit on the amount of marriage licenses a state can give out. Gays will not take a license away from any straight couple. Straight couples will still be able to wed and parent children. I asked him what he would say if he had George W. Bush in front of him and he could say anything he wanted. Here was his response. "We will not give up with out a fight and one day you will be out of office and someone with a open mind will be. And if you can change the laws so can they".

Bush said, in a debate, that he just didn't know if it was indeed a choice that gays make. The second person I interviewed (Name censored for privacy issues) said this "I mean when I was young, mostly in like 1st or 2nd grade, you could tell who would be gay and who would like men. I'm not going to say I was born that way but when I say that, that was what made me happy. That's what I did and that's what everybody do and you can't stop that. I mean that's life". If so many gays are doing this because it's "fun", why is it that so many struggle with this decision? Why do so many gays try to talk themselves out of it? Why would so many gays allow themselves to be disowned by there families? Why would that high school student a few years back allow himself to be chained to a fence and beaten to death? Why would another high school student allow himself to be dragged from a pick up truck? Just to piss closed-minded right-wing nut-jobs off? I don't think so.

John Kerry didn't seem to think it was a choice when he was speaking at a presidential debate. This is what he said "We're all God's children, Bob. And I think if you were to talk to Dick Cheney's daughter, who is a lesbian, she would tell you that she's being who she was, she's being who she was born as. I think if you talk to anybody, it's not choice. I've met people who struggled with this for years, people who were in a marriage because they were living a sort of convention, and they struggled with it. And I've met wives who are supportive of their husbands or vice versa when they finally sort of broke out and allowed themselves to live who they were, who they felt God had made them. I also believe that because we are the United States of America, we're a country with a great, unbelievable Constitution, with rights that we afford people, that you can't discriminate in the workplace. You can't discriminate in the rights that you afford people." In all fairness, John Kerry is against gay marriage also.

George Bush also said that there was evidence that children do not grow up in a safe environment opposed to a family of different gendered parents. For a response to this, I spoke to two child psychology professors.

Dan Kindlon PhD had this to say about this issue. "I do know that several reviews of the literature on this subject conclude that gay parents are no more beneficial or detrimental to a child than are straight parents."

David John Bendt PhD had this to say "There is little evidence that there is anything to fear from gay marriages, as far as negative effects on the children. There are of course the same issues that straight couples have, so that by and large one parent is not as good as two, and it is good to have plenty of exposure to both genders. So I would think that for a 6 year old who is trying to develop a gender identity, it would be as useful for a gay couple to bring in an aunt or uncle for a big brother/big sister relationship to the child as it would be for a single mom or single dad. But plenty of heterosexual marriages present the same types of challenges."

If George Bush says that it is unsafe for two gays to adopt children then by all rights he should say that any parent who is single due to a death or any other circumstance, should have their child taken away because it is unsafe for the gender identity of the child. A gay parent-ship is not at all harmful to a child if a brother (if it is two women) or a sister (if it is two men) is brought into the family also. An aunt or uncle, or best friend to the child can even do the job.

George Bush seems to have a problem with two gay men in love showing there affection for each other. Let's take a look at how he feels about gay men making unwanted advances on small children.

1. A Cypriot Orthodox bishop apologized to the faithful Thursday for scandals besmirching the church, including allegations that a fellow bishop had an affair with a 14-year-old monk.

2. The Jefferson City Diocese said the Rev. John Degnan had been accused in 2001 - about the time he retired from parish ministry - of sexually abusing a boy in the 1960s."Additional allegations surfaced in 2002

3. Twenty-six Roman Catholic priests in the Dubuque archdiocese were accused of sexually abusing children. The report tallies 67 victims of sex abuse by priests: 12 girls and 55 boys.

4. 26 minors accuse 18 Lafayette diocese priests of sex abuse. About 4 percent of all American clerics who served during the years studied — 4,392 of the 109,694 priests and others under vows to the church — were accused of abuse.

5. The Diocese of Covington is being faced with a historic lawsuit -- the first class-action lawsuit in the nation over sexual abuse by clergymen. The plaintiffs' lawyers say they could represent as many as 500-people who claim alleged abuse.

6. Roman Catholic dioceses in Pennsylvania are facing a wave of lawsuits by people who say they were molested by priests as children and believe they should be exempt from time limits that have largely protected the church from legal action. Within the past few weeks, at least 15 alleged victims have sued dioceses across Pennsylvania, claiming church officials failed to remove abusive priests from duty and covered up their actions for decades.

7. A Roman Catholic priest from Orange County was immediately removed from the ministry after pleading guilty Friday to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl last year. The Rev. Gerardo Tanilong pleaded guilty to two felony counts of committing a lewd act upon a child as he and the girl sat in the back seat of a car on the way back from a church function last July.

8. Five people who claim to have been molested by priests plan to announce Friday that they are suing the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

9. The suits would be among several that have been filed against Catholic church officials across the state in recent weeks. Four people who claimed to have been abused by priests filed lawsuits against the Pittsburgh diocese on Jan. 14. Five people sued the diocese of Allentown on Jan. 13. A 44-year-old man who claimed to have been abused as a child sued the Philadelphia archdiocese in December.

10. The Diocese of Monterey is largely on its own as it faces claims of up to million from plaintiffs in sexual abuse cases, church officials said Tuesday. The diocese settled an eighth case earlier this month for ,000. The plaintiff in that case alleged abuse by the Rev. Michael McDonald at St. Mary’s in Salinas from 1964 to 1966.

11. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland has paid to cover the cost of an unusual treatment for a Biddeford native who during childhood was sexually abused by a priest, a spokeswoman said Friday.

12. Priest gets one year for child porn possession

13. A Roman Catholic priest convicted of downloading images and movies of child pornography on a laptop computer he used to publish a church newspaper.

Every single one of the above cases happened in America and I found, literally, thousands more that I excluded. Child molestation is more than a sin. It is a FELONY! With this mass crime that was going on under Bush's nose, what did he do about it? He let Pope John Paul the second handle it. "Pope John Paul II said this week that "little ones" must be protected from violence perpetrated by adults, including sexual abuse. Children were the subject of the pope's annual message for Lent. The Roman Catholic Church has been rocked by a clergy sex abuse scandal involving children in the United States and other countries. The pope's examples included sex abuse, forced prostitution, involvement in drug trafficking, being forced into military combat and "little ones caught up in the obscene trafficking of organs and persons."

While Mr. Bush's attorney general was busy trying to prevent anti-discrimanation policies against gays from being formed, this was going on right under his nose. I guess when your busy making laws that violate 4th amendment rights, your time for launching investigations into molestation all across the country becomes little. While Bush was busy proposing an amendment that would disable the rights of gays that loved each other and were, in no way, abusing anyone, he let thousands of people, if not millions fall victim to gay men who wished to do them harm. I admit some of these cases were girls that were being abused by men but for the love of God George, why did you not do anything about this. This is a far worse problem than 2 gay men living peacefully. Why Mr. Bush did you cut ,700,000.00 that was earmarked for states to investigate cases of child abuse and neglect. You not only let this happen but you made it easier for the criminals committing these acts to get away with it. Mr. Bush, that is wrong!

CHAPTER 10

Family Values

Many right-wing nut-jobs and otherwise smart people have told me that they voted for George Bush because of his strong belief in America's family values. Before we take a look at the Bush family values, let's take a look at George W.'s personal values.

According to three independent sources close to the Bush family, Bush was arrested in 1972 for cocaine possession, and taken to Harris County Jail. In response to Dallas Morning News reporter Wayne Stater about whether he'd ever been arrested for anything other than stealing a Christmas wreath as a college student he said "No". But bush was arrested in 1976 for drunk driving while visiting his parents in Maine. I have a copy of both the arrest record by the Main Police Department and the Maine Department of Motor Vehicles report on this incident. For almost half his life, Bush was distinguished mainly by his ability to party. He seems to have majored in beer drinking. After he formed his first company ("Arbusto" which failed even though it had ,000.00 of Saudi money invested in it), he spent a lot of time in bars, trying to sort out who he was. Bush stated that after his 40th birthday he did not drink anymore. That is not true. In 2001 George Bush attended a wedding where he got drunk. The picture proving it is in the visual representation. George was so worried about what he did when he was too drunk to remember, before his election he hired a private investigator to investigate himself. He was also arrested at a football game for disorderly conduct.

Maybe all this was what he meant when he said "I was a prisoner too. But for bad reasons." I guess family values also means destroying other families by killing members of them. George Bush as governor of Texas killed 131 people. Some of the people killed by George W. Bush even suffered from insanity and/or mental retardation. Bush's values sure are great aren't they?

We all know about Halliburton, which was headed by Dick Cheney, helping the Taliban with an oil project but Cheney isn't the only one who was known for aiding cruel dictators. Prescott Bush, George W. Bush’s grandfather, was the Managing Director of the investment bank Brown Brothers, from the 1920s through the 1940s. It was Brown Brothers, in conjunction with Averell Harriman, the Rockefeller family, Standard Oil, the DuPonts, the Morgans and the Fords who served as the principal funding arm in helping to finance Adolph Hitler’s rise to power starting in 1923. This included direct funding for the SS and SA channeled through a variety of German firms. Prescott Bush, through associations with the Hamburg-Amerika Steamship line, Nazi banker Fritz Thyssen, Standard Oil of Germany, The German Steel Trust, and I.G. Farben, used the Union Bank Corporation to funnel vast quantities of money to the Nazis and to manage their American interests. The profits from those investments came back to Bush allies on Wall Street. Thyssen is universally regarded as having been Hitler’s private banker and ultimate owner of the Union Bank Corporation.

Furthermore, a 1942 U.S. government investigative report that surfaced during 1945 Senate hearings found that the Union Bank, with Prescott Bush on the board, was an "interlocking concern" with the German Steel Trust that had produced:

50.8% of Nazi Germany’s pig iron

41.4% of Nazi Germany’s universal plate

36% of Nazi Germany’s heavy plate

38.5% of Nazi Germany’s galvanized sheet

45.5% of Nazi Germany’s pipes and tubes

22.1% of Nazi Germany’s wire

          35% of Nazi Germany’s explosives.

The Nazis are not the only foreign criminals Prescott had assisted. In 1989, when Yakuza (Japanese mafia) elements were seeking to extend their financial interests into the U.S., Prescott Bush arranged investments by a Japanese Mob front company in two U.S. businesses and a large piece of U.S. land. The Japanese company, West Tsusho, was identified by Japanese police as a front company for one of Japan’s largest organized crime syndicates. Bush was paid ,000.00 for help in arranging the company’s purchase of a controlling interest of one U.S. firm, Assets Management, and also helped the Japanese Mob front to invest in Quantam access, a U.S. software firm. They ultimately took complete control. Both U.S. companies subsequently filed for bankruptcy. Bush denied any knowledge of the Japanese Mob’s role in these deals, which came under investigation by both a U.S. bankruptcy court-appointed trustee, and the Japanese police.

Now that we've uncovered that, let's talk about George's nephew, George P. Bush. On December 31st 1994 Bush went to his former girlfriend's house in Miami at 4:00 am. He proceeded to break in through the bedroom window and began arguing with his ex- girlfriend's father. If someone broke into my house at 4:00 in the morning I'd probably argue with them too. George P. Bush then got mad and left. 20 minutes later, he came back and drove his Ford Explorer all over the front lawn of the house. Luckily for him, the family did not press charges.

Let's talk about Bush's other nephew. 16 year old John Bush. Son of Jeb Bush, this 16-year old was caught having anal-sexual relations with a 17 year old girl in a Jeep Cherokee outside a Tallahassee shopping mall. The two security officers that responded immediately called Florida police. When questioned by security, John said "My dad will fix it". A police report was indeed filed but for some reason, John was not charged. In the report, Sergeant Oscar Brannon said that they were in public view. Weeks later when asked why John "Jebby" Bush did not get charged, he said "the couple was not in public view".

Another one of Jeb Bush's children, Noelle Lucila Bush (George's niece) was arrested at a Walgreen’s drugstore for prescription fraud while trying to obtain Xanax. Xanax wasn't the only drug young Noelle had a liking to. On September 22nd, 2002, Julia Elias found .2 grams of crack cocaine hidden in Noelle Bush's shoe. A member of the Orlando Police Department had this to say, "One of the women here was caught buying crack cocaine tonight. And a lot of the women are upset because she's been caught about five times. And we want something done because our children are here, and they just keep letting it slip under the counter and carpet. She does this all the time and she gets out of it because she's the governor's daughter. But we're sick of it here 'cause we have to do what's right, but she gets treated like some kind of princess. And everybody's tired of it, you know. We're just trying to get our lives together".

"While Noelle has been given every break in the book, her father has made it harder for others in her position to get the help they need by cutting the budgets of drug treatment and drug court programs in his state. He has also actively opposed a proposed ballot initiative that would send an estimated 10,000 non-violent drug offenders into treatment instead of jail." The only punishment Noelle got was ten days for "contempt".

Speaking of Jeb Bush, let's see if he has any skeletons in his closet. In 1987, Miguel Recarey, a longstanding business associate of Tampa mafia boss Satos Trafficante, fled the U.S. under three indictments for labor racketeering, illegal wiretapping, and Medicare fraud. His firm, International Medical Centers, which was America's largest health maintenance orginization for the elderly and which had recieved 1 billion dollars in Medicare funds, collapsed. Recarey's HMO left 222 million dollars in unpaid bills, and was suspected of up to 100 million dollars in medicare fraud. "IMC is the classic case of embezzlement of government funds," said William Teich, who headed the U.S. Office of Labor Racketeering in Miami. Teich called it a "bust-out operation" where money was "drained out the back door and disappeared down a black hole. In 1985, Recarey had faced a major obstacle to building his Medicare empire. The Department of Health and Human Services had, in effect, a regulation that restricted an HMO from drawing no more than 50% of its revenue from Medicare. Jeb Bush came to the rescue. He called both Health and Human Services secretary Margaret Heckler and C. McLain Haddow who was a top aid. He successfully convinced them to waive the regulation for Recarey. This took place during the same period that top-level Republicans were paid 1 million dollars. Bush said that he did not recall making any calls to Heckler or Haddob but confirmed that he made one call on Recarey's behalf to Haddow's assistant, to secure Recarey a "fair hearing".

What about George W. Bush's father? George Herbert Walker Bush. 41st President of the United States. Ted Koppel was quoted as saying... "It is becoming increasingly clear that George Bush, operating largely behind the scenes throughout the 1980s, initiated and supported much of the financing, intelligence, and military help that built Saddam's Iraq into the aggressive power that the United States ultimately had to destroy." On February 23rd, 1992 (which was a month after he had left office) it was found out that the Bush administration had given close to 1 billion dollars in aid to Iraq. Here is a quote from the L.A. Times, "Secretary of State James Baker, after meeting with the Iraqi Foreign Minister in October 1989, intervened personally to support U.S. government loans guarunteed to Iraq.

George Bush, It was you that said, "Laura and I really don't realize how bright our children is sometimes until we get an objective analysis." Well readers, you are about to find out exactly how bright George Bush's children "is". Bush's daughters, Jenna and Barbara, were issued two misdemeanor citations after polive were called by the manager of "Chuy's" restaurant reporting that they were trying to buy alcohol even though they were under 21. Punishments for these crimes include a maximum fine of .00, a driver's license suspension, community service, and attendance of an alcohol awareness program. They were told that if they behaved themselves, the incident would be taken off of their records. If they did not behave and they did it again, the proper lawful punishments would be sought. Strangerly enough, just like Jeb'skids, Jenna and Barbara got no punishment whatsoever.

An average American had this to say... "I cannot believe Bush won the election because of family morals. Little does this country know ALL about his family and his love for the almighty greenback. He is no angel. No values. Corruption goes all the way back to his grandfather and maybe even further".

CHAPTER 11

The American Economy

I chose to make this, the 11th chapter, on the economy because that is basically where the economy stands. Chapter 11! George W. Bush was left, by Bill Clinton, a surplus of ,600,000,000,000.00. We are now entering the beginning of Bush's fifth year in office and we, as a nation, have a deficit of ,300,000,000,000.00. I had Blackwood so my math isn't quite up to par, but if I'm correct, in 4 years, we have lost ,300,000,000,000.00

Let's take a look at how one man can ruin a country's wallet so quickly. It is no secret that Bush loves his rich friends. With all the cuts in programs I have mentioned in this book, you might wonder how we can be 1 thin penny in the red. Well that's quite simple when you find out that Bush spends more money for tax cuts for the wealthiest 1% than all of his spending proposals for health care, prescription drug, education and national defense all combined. We shouldn’t give nearly half of America's money to the wealthiest 1%, because the other 99% had an awful lot to do with building the surplus in our prosperity. Since Bush took office, tuitions have gone up 35%. Gasoline prices went up 30 percent. Medicare premiums went up 17%. Prescription drugs are up 12% a year. Health-care costs for the average American have gone up 64%.

The take home pay for a middle or low class American family is less than it's been since the stock market crash of 1929 and the take home pay of the richest 1% of America is higher than it has been since the roaring 20's. The president gave the top 1 percent of income-earners in America, billion last year, more than the 80 percent of people who earn ,000 or less all put together.

John Kerry said in a debate "If we raise the minimum wage, which I will do over several years to an hour, 9. 2 million women who are trying to raise their families would earn another ,800 a year. The president has denied 9.2 million women ,800 a year, but he doesn't hesitate to fight for ,000 to a millionaire."

5.2% of Americans don't even have jobs. I'm going to tell you why. George Bush has in place what he calls a "Guest Worker Program". He said in a speech "It's time for immigration policy that permits temporary guest workers to fill jobs Americans will not take!" Do you mean to tell America, Mr. Bush that with over 5% of the U.S. out of work and unemployed, that you could not find one American to take any one of those jobs? I highly doubt it. Many people are coming to this country for economic reasons. They are coming here to work. If you can make 50 cents in the heart of Mexico, for example, or make here in America, you're going to come here if you want to put food on the table for your families. And that's what's happening.

Mexico isn't the only country like that. For example, India has a program that enables jobs to go over there from computer software companies and other companies for a discount in taxes. Have you ever wondered why lately, when you call an AOL service line you get put through to someone who can't even understand what you’re saying let alone be able to fix the problem? That is why.

There is a tax loophole right now. If you're a company, trying to make jobs here, there is actually an incentive for you to go away. You get more money, you keep more of your taxes by going abroad. You can hire a programmer for .00 in China compared to .00 an hour here. China is the #1 idea taker for cheaper production. They take an idea and make a cheaper bootleg product and then sell the product back to America. For example. Callaway makes expensive golf clubs. After China got through with it, even the president of the company had to look real closely to tell the difference. This is not good for the American job system.

In a presidential debate, Bush was asked this question, "Mr. President, what do you say to someone in this country who has lost his job to someone overseas who's being paid a fraction of what that job paid here in the United States?", Bush responded with "I've got policies to continue to grow our economy and create the jobs of the 21st century. And here's some help for you to go get an education. Here's some help for you to go to a community college. We've expanded trade adjustment assistance. We want to help pay for you to gain the skills necessary to fill the jobs of the 21st century." That may be all well and good, but that did not answer the question. What if the person who lost his job was already a fully accredited engineer with a degree? What if the person did not need any more schooling? How are the people of the middle class, who lost 125,000 jobs in the last quarter supposed to feed there families, when the President of the United States keeps giving Americas jobs to Mexico and China? When Bush was running for the presidency in 2000, he said "I want everybody to hear loud and clear that i'm going to be the president of everybody." I think what he meant to say was that he was going to be the president of the rich and of Mexico and China. Maybe all these unemployed Americans were who he was talking about when he said "There's a huge trust. I see all the time when people come up to me and say "I don't want you to let me down again".

Bush was also quoted as saying "our economy is held back by frivolous asbestos claims". The U.S. department of Labor and Occupational Safety and Health Administration has said that "Asbestos workers have increased chances of getting two principal types of cancer: cancer of the lung tissue itself and mesothelioma, a cancer of the thin membrane that surrounds the lung and other internal organs. These diseases do not develop immediately following exposure to asbestos, but appear only after a number of years." Frivolous asbestos claims Mr. President? The health problems asbestos can cause don't sound very frivolous to me. What's really holding the American Economy back is you. In a presidential debate, Bush said "I believe that younger workers ought to be allowed to take some of their own money and put it in a personal savings account, because I understand that they need to get better rates of return than the rates of return being given in the current Social Security trust. And the compounding rate of interest effect will make it more likely that the Social Security system is solvent for our children and our grandchildren." John Kerry's response was this "You just heard the president say that young people ought to be able to take money out of Social Security and put it in their own accounts. Now, my fellow Americans, that's an invitation to disaster. The CBO said very clearly that if you were to adopt the president's plan, there would be a trillion hole in Social Security, because today's workers pay in to the system for today's retirees. And the CBO said -- that's the Congressional Budget Office; it's bipartisan (that means made up of both Democrats and Republicans) -- they said that there would have to be a cut in benefits of 25 percent to 40 percent. Now, the president has never explained to America, ever, hasn't done it tonight, where does the transitional money, that trillion, come from?"

Bush has explained where that extra 2 trillion dollars will come from. He has said he was going to cut 154 government programs. Programs that mainly go to benefit middle and low class America. Programs that go to benefit troops coming back from overseas. Bush wants to divert 1 out of every off into the stock market, which means that he would drain a trillion dollars out of the Social Security in this generation over the next ten years, and Social Security under that approach, would go bankrupt within this generation. His leading advisor on this plan actually said that would be okay, because then the Social Security Trust Fund could start borrowing. It would borrow up to trillion. Now, Social Security has never done that. Al Gore's lock box plan would have kept Social Security safe for 55 years. Under Bush, Social Security will be broke in 13 years. Democratic Senate Minority leader Harry Reid of Nevada had this to say about Bush's social security privatizing plan. "The president's social security plan would take our 4.3 trillion dollar debt and put us another 2 trillion in the red. In 2018 social security will be paying more than it takes in and every year after will bring a new short fall bigger than the year before. In 2027 the government will somehow have to come up with an extra 200 billion dollars to keep the system afloat". I hope there are enough government programs that aren’t getting results to get us that much money. Programs like "No Child Left Behind".

In a quote from Mr. Bush he said "Rarerly is the question asked... Is our children learning?" Maybe our children would be learning if The No Child Left Behind program wasn't underfunded by ,000,000.00. In St. Louis alone they have laid off 350 teachers. They are about million shy of what they ought to be under the No Child Left Behind Act. Then again this is the man that said "You teach a child to read and he or her will pass a literacy test".

Let's talk health care. In Ohio alone, 114,000 people lost health care under the Bush Administration. In Wisconsin, 82,000 people. Other states have figures like this as well. 95% of all seniors get no help whatsoever under Bush's plan for the first four or five years. One thing I don't understand is why do the wealthiest 1% get their tax cuts the first year, but 95% of seniors have to wait four to five years before they get a single penny?

An average American had this to say about the economy... " The rich are becoming richer and richer and their are becoming more millionaires. Bush gives cuts to the rich and the poor are actually going to do worse. Programs are taken away from them like job placement." The reason they are not working is because all the jobs that they are qualified for, are going over to other countries

I think John Kerry said it best in a presidential debate when he said "He can't come here and tell you that he's created health care for Americans because we've got 5 million Americans who have lost their health care. He can't come here and tell you that he's left no child behind because he didn't fund no child left behind." What Kerry did not mention is that we had 2 simultaneous wars going on, and tax cuts mainly for the rich, which Bush is trying to make permanent, tsunami aid money going over to nations affected by it, death benefits raised for soldiers who die in combat, Social Security privatizing, and no plan on who's paying for it. My guess on who's going to handle this new debt that will undoubtedly hang over the next president's head will be of course YOU the American taxpayer and the next President of the United States of America. My pick for the next president is either Hillary Clinton or Howard Dean for the Democrats, or John McCain of the Republicans. It's on paper and you can quote me on it.

Readers, Osama Bin Laden is still out there, over 5% of America is sitting on there ass watching Oprah all day because they don't have jobs, Bush lied to the world on 2 occasions, he has given the wealthiest people in America money and let the rest of the people suffer. I could go on for reasons on why George Bush needs to go. I am calling for the immediate resignation of George W. Bush because he is, by far, the worst president that I have ever been alive under. This pretty much wraps up my book and I hope I have made my points and arguments clear. Thank you for reading
