Welcome back to Planet Joejoe

Welcome to Planet Joejoe. Come on in.

Today is monday and over the weekend, I realized that Ted Nugent has a point. No I'm not advocating going into the forest and killing an innocent unarmed animal with a bow and arrow that would put Robin Hood to shame, I'm saying something about foriegners.

Over the weekend I got a job at a restaurant (because my current job might be going under thank you very much george w bush. no child left behind my left eye. more like no millionaire left behind)  and I am NOT exaggerating when I say that the MAJORITY of the staff did NOT speak English. It's OK to visit with family or friends or to be on a vacation seeing some of the wonderful places in our nation, but if you live and work in a country, you should at least speak the language. If you are from a different country and you are only going to be here for a week or 2 then don't bother but if you are the night time manager of a restaurant then you should speak proper english. You should not speak only Arabic and a few simple English words. You should not pick up the phone and answer the question "Is the manager there" by saying "uh yes  I him. I him." I worked there for one day and these foriegners would try to tell me something and I had no idea what they were saying. It is not helpful to anyone when they do not speak the language. They just don't want to do it. They are slowing everybody else down. It is not fair to naturally born Americans. I had the misery of training one of these people at an old job. I had to train an Egyptian how to dishwash. He spoke nothing but Arabic and it was extremely difficult. This made it harder on him, me, the rest of the staff, and the customers. This is not fair. Nugent is right. "If your'e gonna be in the country, ya better speak the language"

thank you.

If you have a response to this, take the mic from the "Pass the mic" section up on top and leave your mark on my site.

Main Menu  (The following descriptions are for the links at the very top of the page)

THE FIRST FOUR YEARS: The first four years is a politcal book that I wrote on our wonderful president we have. Take a look at it and see all the great things he's done.

A VISUAL REPRESENTATION OF THE FIRST FOUR YEARS: The visual representation is just that. All the important images and pictures that I could not put on the page with the book, I placed them all right here.

HEY JOEJOE WHAT'S IN THE NEWS THIS WEEK: What's in the news this week is a page where I pick 1 story in the news from the last week and i give you the facts. After giving all the facts of the case, I give my opinion on it. Sometimes the news story will be political, sometimes good news, sometimes bad news. The news will be updated every Sunday. If you miss it for a week or so, don't worry because you can check the NEWS STORY ARCHIVES for all the news stories past. :)

TOON COUNTRY: Some people say that animation is the lowest form of entertainment. If it's the absolute lowest, then we are doing pretty good for ourselves. There have been some absolutely CLASSIC cartoons that have graced us with their presence. I have developed what is (in my mind) a top 10 list of all time cartoons. (In no particular order)  I also will pick 1 cartoon a week and shine the spotlight on it special. If you miss a week, don't worry because you can catch it in the cartoon archives :)

THE ART PAGE: The art page is just basically a few cool pieces of artwork I have in my own collection and some I found online. If you have any nice pieces of art-work that you would'nt mind contributing, please email them to me. thank you.

THE COUCH: The couch is where you come when you need to talk. When something is bothering you and you need a littl e reassurandce. I'm not licensed but I am starting school to become a psychlogist. Just know that my training is VERY limited . Basically nonexistent. But if you are looking for osmone to listen I amdhere.  I also have poems on this site. If anyone has poems that they have either written or somone else has written and would like to contribute, feel free to do so by emailing me.

THE ARCHIVES: The archives are where you go to find something that you missed. If you missed the cartoon of the week or the recipe, this is where it's all backed up.

HEY JOEJOE WHAT DO YA SAY:  If you have something worth adding like an opinion, poem, fact, information, art, anything. Anything at all that you think I should take a look at, this is where it happens. This is where you can email me.

PASS THE MIC

Got something to say? well here. Let me pass the mic to ya. This is where you get to say whatever you want. Make an impact.
